Even my Chrysler Top Care rep hated dealing w these guys I was ordering a new 2013 Wrangler from a Nielsen Jeep in NJ (my brother-in-law sent me there; his business buys a lot of cars from these guys, so I f I was ordering a new 2013 Wrangler from a Nielsen Jeep in NJ (my brother-in-law sent me there; his business buys a lot of cars from these guys, so I figured I’d make out OK, despite my salesman being a complete clown). When I went to pick up my new Jeep it had the wrong hard top on it; I had ordered the matching/painted top and this one had the black composite. I was assured they had another coming due in two weeks and they’d switch the tops then. After over a month of harassing them I finally got the call that my new top was in. I brought my Jeep in for their service department to swap the tops and I was just about to drive away when I noticed something. Yup…someone’s brother Fredo had apparently dropped one of the freedom panels on the ground, badly messing it up in multiple locations. They had put it on my Jeep anyway and said nothing, apparently hoping that I’d drive away and not realize until they could claim it was my fault. I completely lost it. Eventually I had to get Detroit involved and I was assigned my own personal Chrysler Top Care rep. After a month of my Top Care rep getting the run-around from the dealership he was on the verge of sending me to another dealership w a FCA-paid for top when the original dealer finally addressed the problem. Needless to say I started taking my Jeep to another dealer for service…and so began my search for a competent Jeep dealer in NJ. More
