I went to the dealership for several reasons: Air circulation sounds, flaps opening and closing. Was taken care of under warranty. Thank you! Problems with one of my key-fobs. He fixed that on the spot. Thank you again! Third problem: Water in my outer right rear light. There was no visible damage on the light. I opened the cover behind the light to remove and inspect it for hidden cracks. This is when I noticed that the center threaded shaft of the light was broken. I pushed it back in position as far as possible. But without the locking mechanism it still stuck out a little bit. I assumed material fatigue. I scheduled a service call. Brandon , the service advisor determined within seconds that the back of my car (bumper cover) had been repainted. This was total new info for me, it still does not make sense to me why he would determine that. After a little bit of arguing I did the smart thing and decided to take care of the light myself. I ordered an original VW light from another dealership and had it properly replaced (Not VW Niello) I still believe that this should be a warranty replacement. More
