Niello VW exceeds expectations. Prices are reasonable, service is reputable and reliable. Everyone I have dealt with at this VW dealership has bent over backwards for my business. T Prices are reasonable, service is reputable and reliable. Everyone I have dealt with at this VW dealership has bent over backwards for my business. They pleased the right guy, cuz I’m Loyal when it comes to excellence. No price shopping, no picking up or dropping off my car, valet service right from my front doorstep by two pleasant employees. All for me. exceptional! Being an older gentleman with EDS I do well however I have more off days than on. I forgot that I needed a SMOG vert for my registration due in just a week. What did Niello do, Smog it while it was there. DMV released registration same day. It’s a fast paced World and times we live in. High Tech can often mean poor customer service. NIELLO VOLKSWAGEN receives my award for High Tech, High Touch as their Tech enhances the experience rather than deplete the human aspect. Good for you Niello. Rarely do I feel good about spending money on car maintenance. But, a VW will provide many years of use if properly cared for. I never find myself thinking about servicing my VW at Niello in regular intervals because they inspect your vehicle every time. My Technician sends me a Video of my inspection with a very detailed explanation of what they find, what they want to do to fix it and the option to approve or save until later. No surprises. My 2015 VW CC is my second CC and back in the 90’s I had the coolest green and white pop top camper van I kick myself for letting it go! Point being they are good cars especially for the value for your dollar and fun factor to drive not to mention 30+ mpg highway. I only have 45,000 miles on my 2015 and it will most likely be the last car I ever buy. If you are looking for a VW, you owe it to yourself to go to Niello first. What a wonderful experience I had buying my (new to me) 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring! I can’t say enough about the staff, Steve who came along side us outside to answer any questions we had and to let us take the car for a test drive. And once inside, we were met with Carlos and Vincent. All were as nice and accommodating as Steve was. I would highly recommend going to Niello Volkswagen to buy your next car! You won’t be sorry! On May 29th of this year I went to Niello Volkswagen of Sacramento to purchase a new 2021 Jetta GLI that I thought looked absolutely beautiful. My wife and I loaded up our three small kids and drove from o Sacramento to purchase a new 2021 Jetta GLI that I thought looked absolutely beautiful. My wife and I loaded up our three small kids and drove from our house in Stockton up to the dealership in Sacramento. When we got there, the car was already ready to go for a quick test drive. I drove it around for a few minutes, and came back to hopefully get going on the loan process. Got approved rather quickly and continued to move forward. At this point we had been there maybe 45 minutes, so not too bad considering I thought we were almost finished. Now, this car had a few things done by the dealer that I knew about. It had aftermarket wheels and tires, and what I thought at the time was just lowering springs (since my salesperson said it was just springs.) I was required to sign a piece of paper that I acknowledged that the car rode differently than an untouched Jetta GLI. I understood that part and signed the paper. At this point we had been there an hour and were told that it wouldn’t be too much longer to get into signing the sale documents. Fast forward a couple of hours and I’m getting quite frustrated since I have my wife, 5, 3, and 1 year old with me and it’s taken all this extra time to just be seen to sign documents. Finally, after about 4 hours of being there we sign the documents and I have the car! I have bought a few cars in the past from other dealers and while I was annoyed at my experience with the dealership, the anger flooded away as soon as I got to see and sit in the car for the first time as its owner. A couple of weeks go by and I’m on my way to pick my parents up from San Francisco in my new car! I couldn’t wait to show my parents and enjoy a nice ride back to Stockton. My parents loaded up their baggage and off we went. I made it about 50 feet and notice a horrible rubbing sound coming from the rear of the car. The back wheel well was completely rubbing on the sidewall of the rear tires! I tried to remain calm and we eventually made it out of San Francisco and pulled over at an in-n-out to eat an inspect the damage. Both sidewalls (especially the back right) were chewed up and the top of the wheel well where the sidewall and it met was burned, chipped, and started to rust. Obviously I was furious that this was not mentioned to me that IM NOT ABLE TO TAKE ANYONE IN MY CAR. I took pictures with my parents and luggage in the car and without to show my salesperson what had happened. He “assured” me that there was probably nothing to worry about and that it would take a lot to wear down the sidewall that much to cause issues. I ended up setting up an appointment to get it looked at a couple of days later and found out that it was on coilovers, not lowering springs. My wife an I before the appointment wanted to talk with a sales manager to see what could be done to remedy these problems and we were greeted by a guy named Mike. Mike obviously had heard of the situation and went and “inspected” the tires himself and said it didn’t look too bad. We disagreed on this and I said we really want the tires replaced, the car raised up as much as possible, and the paint issue on the wheel well to be fixed. He said because I had signed a document that said that the car “rode” differently that that meant I was responsible for the damages. To me this is dishonest. I went to the dealership originally with the notion of hopefully one day buying from them again. Not anymore. Not only will I never buy a vehicle from them again, I will also be making sure no one I know does either, and I will be taking the services that I paid for in the agreement to another dealership. I’m writing this on the 18th of July, which is a day after I paid over $200 for a brand new tire on a car that has not even 2000 miles. Whoever in the service/sales department decided to put 275mm on a 9.5 inch tire AND lower it on coils without rolling the fenders or at least offering to pay for that for the vehicle is an absolute bafoon. The disrespect I have felt from almost every person at this dealership is mind boggling. Not owning up to your mistake is one thing, but treating me like I’m an idiot and that I should have known has really irritated me. I can’t recommend any department of this dealership to anyone as they all seem like a bunch of money hungry jerks. You’ve lost a customer Niello, and I hope I can influence others to feel the same. They won't give you the price without wasting a ton time. I had a very nice "salesman" who wanted to help me with my e-golf and was knowledgeable but I already knew I wanted the car and asked the price (MSRP I had a very nice "salesman" who wanted to help me with my e-golf and was knowledgeable but I already knew I wanted the car and asked the price (MSRP sticker was clearly not the market price). He said he can't talk pricing, sat me down and walked away for 20 mins to get someone who can talk price. He walked back to me to with sheet of paper that had the MSRP. I said "is this your price"? He said he can't talk price. I said "then what were you doing for 20 mins? He asked what I'd like to pay and I said "less than MSRP". He asked what I thought would be a fair price? and I said "I thought you weren't allowed to talk about price". He said he would take my offer to his manager. I said I'd just like to know the price they were selling it for and he said the MSRP is the only number he can give me unless I make his manager an offer. I said I'd be leaving, he ran to get his manager who just repeated the same mantra (minus the "I can't talk price" bit). There is nothing pleasant about a dealership that won't give out their price. It's an exercise in absurdity that they want me to talk first. It's unprofessional and it's rude they way they treat my time. More
Car dealer games! I received an instant cash offer for our 2016 Ford Explorer from Kelley Blue Book. The first dealer to contact me was Niello Buying Group. I was told I received an instant cash offer for our 2016 Ford Explorer from Kelley Blue Book. The first dealer to contact me was Niello Buying Group. I was told to bring my car in. They told me that they would probably be able to give me more money for my trade than my offer. I brought my car in and had it inspected by their appraiser. I was told that my car was exceptionally clean, but the tread on the tires was low. The next person came in and told me that they “adjusted my offer”, and they were willing to give me $1000-$1500 less than the original offer. I told them that I was told that I would probably receive more than my original offer, and that their appraiser said my car was exceptionally clean. I was told that after reviewing the market value of my car, that was all it was worth, but “don’t worry, I’ll probably get the high side of that offer, and maybe a little more “. I decided to go to the next dealership on the list from Kelley Blue Book. Roseville Infinity gave me the full cash offer. The whole process took 20 minutes. I encourage anyone who is dealing with Niello to walk away if they change the conditions of their offer. Their words and promises mean nothing! More

Can't recommend the dealership! I got a quote over email from Michael Havard for $10,645 on a 2013 VW TDI. The quote was emailed on Thursday Feb 14th. I drove more than 2 hours from I got a quote over email from Michael Havard for $10,645 on a 2013 VW TDI. The quote was emailed on Thursday Feb 14th. I drove more than 2 hours from Los Gatos on Sunday to test drive the car ! However, Mike and his GM not only did NOT honor their quoted price, they insisted on asking $11,266!! I even offered a higher price of their quoted one, but they would not accept it! So, I had to leave! I don't know what protection customers have if the dealership is NOT going to honor their own written quote! Now I personally appreciate the pain and suffering Car Shopper feel and why the dealerships make the experience a miserable one! More
