I was treated so well by all the employees I had contact with, that I will recommend this Dealership to all my friends and relatives. They knew their product and without pressure I was able to find the car of my choice. The Sales Rep. ( Donnie Mallory ) was very helpful and the Finance Director Rob King did an excellent job without delay. More
This is the first dealership that has the most professinal group of employess working for them. I have been to many other dealerships that dont really care about their customers, here, they treat professinal group of employess working for them. I have been to many other dealerships that dont really care about their customers, here, they treat you right the first time and everytime. Impecible professianlism and great above-and-beyond care for their customers. Not only did they give me what I wanted, but they fought for the BEST price and LOW intrest rate anywhere around. BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

The USAA buyer's program brought me to this dealership. I had to travel from Clarksville, Tn to Gallatin, TN to visit the dealership, but it was worth it. Without any haggle, they beat the competition's pric had to travel from Clarksville, Tn to Gallatin, TN to visit the dealership, but it was worth it. Without any haggle, they beat the competition's price up front, and gave me more for my 2005 Nissan frontier- trade. I highly recommend this dealership. More
This purchasing experience was better than most, but it is still not THE dealership that I'm looking for. The above asks if I would recommend this dealership "Yes" or "No". They are missing a bubble that is still not THE dealership that I'm looking for. The above asks if I would recommend this dealership "Yes" or "No". They are missing a bubble that says "Sort of, but not really". I want a dealership where folks know what they are talking about and there are no "surprises" after. I purchased a used 2006 Nissan Altima, in the evening. Granted it was an hour and 1/2 before closing, in the evening, and folks stayed over to complete the deal, but then again, the dealership closed at 8:00. Hard to get out of work, eat and buy a car all before 8:00pm anyway, but they were willing to stay open to complete it, and for that I was pleased. However, even though I did all the paperwork that evening, I found out the "finance" person didn't know all the ins and outs, so the next day, I had to redo the paperwork because the daytime finance person, who said people at night don't know what he knows, didn't place it with the right finance company. Now the positive was I did get a 1/2 percentage point better, but it always makes me wonder "what else did they miss?". I do appreciate the honesty, however. The sales person, Jerry, was very nice. Very positive, not hard sell, willing to allow me to make up my mind. However, and again, this just goes back to training, he said my car had an XM radio, which it does not. He said I just needed to get a subscription, but it doesn't have an antenna or receiver for that. I took him at his word, and it is my fault I didn't look for the antenna sooner, but I feel there is a lot of time that if a person's job is to sell vehicles, they should know what comes or doesn't come on a vehicle, and if they don't know for sure, say so, or go find out. I've been in plenty of dealerships when multiple sales people are standing together talking about events of the day, when they could be sitting with owner's manuals and reading about features. Having XM radio or not is a pretty basic discussion. I very much appreciated that Jerry delivered the car the next day to my home, a good 45 minute drive one way. That is customer service to the maximum, and it was very much appreciated. However, once again at the last moment, since I had to "just sign here", I was presented with a full set of paperwork that again, lowered the interest rate, but offered an extended warranty. So, here I have a person who has driven 45 minutes one way to deliver a car, and now I am faced with signing for paperwork that I have had no time to review. I could have been given the option the night before, but once again, supposedly nobody the night before knew about it to offer it. It makes for a very uncomfortable purchasing experience, and doesn't have to be that way. Somewhere out there is a dealership that takes pride in their sales people knowing the vehicles they are selling, and that is the advertisement they put on TV. An advertisement that says "At Newton Nissan, our salespeople know our cars so well, we challenge you to come in and visit with them. If we don't know the features on our cars, and we tell you the car has a feature it does or doesn't have, we will give you $--.-- for each mistake we make, ever if we don't sell you the car! If our Finance people make a mistake, we promise you $--.-- to correct that mistake. Our sales people don't sit and visit with each other, they sit and learn, so they can make your experience different here than any other. Our finance people are the most experienced in the businesss, and they know how to get you the best possible deal. SO come into Newton Nissan for a TRULY Different Automobile Shopping Experience!" No charge for the consultation, but I promise you, if a dealership trains enough so they can promote that, they will have folks knocking the door down. More
I was sold a used car with multiple problems and instead of fixing they sold me another car for more money. Was not even the amount we had discussed when sitting at the desk. I am young and know that I sh of fixing they sold me another car for more money. Was not even the amount we had discussed when sitting at the desk. I am young and know that I should have checked or had help. But that should be no reason for someone to take advantage of people. Please be very careful when dealing with Newton Nissan of Gallatin. You will not be told the truth and please check the paperwork. You will be paying more than you thought you were. CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK. A hard lesson for me but it will be a long remembered one and one many of my friends will hear about. NOTE: Talked with Mike on Feb 8,2010. He said he would make this right and correct all problems. Talked with Mike again on Feb 23, 2010. After two weeks he made no return phone call to tell us any solution. Talked to Mike again on Mar 9, 2010. After looking at a replacement vehicle he was putting us in the same situation all over again. March 25, Drove another car. When time came to work out. Well, it was just a very sad situation. It has become evedent that what we were told was going to be done is not going to happen. What does this sound like to you? Be very careful. You may not be told the truth. After review posted: Once again lets tell the whole truth. The first car had multiple problems. Including two tickets from police (that were dismissed) because of electrical problems. No tail lights. One headlight going off for no reason. Inside dome light burn. Dash lights going out for no reason. Does this sounds like no problems to you? After taking back for repair once again, salesman said he was going to upgrade me and get me in a better car. With several men around and lots of telling me this is the best way to go, etc. I took the other car. And you must remember I am 26 year old single female. Something I found later that and even the GM aggreed on it they took advantage of that. And that is where the aggreement came into play for looking for another vechile. He Mike Abbondanza (GM) said and this is the truth, If I put you back in a vehicle at the same deal as the first will you be happy?. And to that I said yes. My dad was there with me this time and heard him say this. So on Feb 8 I left thinking he may acctually straighten this out. It is now Apr 7 and sitll no car. And the TWO cars I have looked at I found and they were priced lower than the first vehicle I purchased. But after they wrote up the paperwork, you can guess it. The end price was even higher and no where close the the original. You be the judge of weather that would be the same deal as the first. Out of these 10 to 12 weeks the only phone call to me was after I left a message to call me. He also told my dad he would call him and you can guess that again. Not one phone call to him to come look at a vehicle. It probably would not be so bad at this time if I had been told the truth. If you are not going to do what you say you are going to do then say nothing, don't lie to someone. So now I have went to the Better Business Bureau and left a complant. I am going to the Tennessee Motor Vehicle Commission and post a complant. And most likely will go further since things that were said since the first car purchase. Yes, they had a chance to make it right as I was told by Mike they were going to but I believe that it has been long enough. So people be very careful Ladies be very very careful Take someone with you and do not make any decision without two or even three days of your visit. I am going to be starting a blog so you will be able to contact me directly and even come look at the paperwork for the two vehicles. Will be very happy to talk with you before you buy. The end result. I had $7,000.00 to pay down on a vehicle. I now owe $14,500.00 on a car that is only worth around $12,500.00. And the best I have been offered trade in is $9,000.00. More

I buy my cars there and get all my maintenance service done there as well. I have always been treated great by everyone there. When I first started looking for a nissan in 2007 I went to Rivergate Nissan and was treated very badly. I would not recommend Rivergate Nissan, but I would highly recommend Newton Nissan of Gallatin. They are a wonderful group of people. More
