Overall a great experiance. This was my third new Nissan and this was the by far best sales team I have worked with. I worked on line with USAA and started the process at around 1PM on Friday. Less than 5 minutes after filling out the online form I received a call from Newton Nissan in response to my request. Note...I still have not received a call from the other dealer listed online having my vehicle. Anyway, I was thrilled to see that Justin Garza had my vehicle. Since this was going to be a sight unseen purchase he was very accommodating in taking pictures and emailing them to me. I was working on a deadline with financing since it was already Friday afternoon and he took care of all my requests promptly. He told me what I needed and gave me attainable time frames. There was no pressure on his end which was very welcome. Prior to Newton Nissan I had contacted, visited and/or emailed 5 other dealers requesting information. Two were rude and sarcastic, after being on hold for over 7 minutes from the receptionish, two never returned my request for a quote and my local dealer may actually have been the worst. Never did they even follow up with me over an entire week. Odd since I told them I was buying ASAP. Therefore, Justin's prompt service was just what I was looking for to finish the deal. There was no apprehension on my end at all even though I was in another state. Less than 24 hours after my initial conversation with Justin, Glen (what a great man) pulled up with the car on a carrier and it was EXACTLY what I was expecting. The process was a delight and I will continue to speak highly about my experience with Justin and Newton Nissan. I love my vehicle even more that the process was extraordinary at Newton. Job well done from Justin to Glen! More
I lost my previous car to the recent flood a few weeks ago. So, the car shopping began. I went to local dealerships to see what was out there and finally narrowed it down to a Nissan Altima. My grandfather and I spent half a day at Cookeville Nissan test driving and picking out which options I wanted. We also spent the majority of the time talking money. They advertised a special on their Altima's, and we thought we could get a good deal on one. I printed off the car I wanted that was at another dealership in TN that was a great price - or so I thought. Cookeville Nissan finally came down on the price of one of their cars to the one that I had printed out from another dealership. I still wasn't 100% sold on the price of the car, so we left. The manager gave me his card and told me that before I bought a car - call him first. A couple hours later, my father and I were eating dinner, and I mentioned to him that I saw an advertisement for up to $6000 off a new Altima at Newton Nissan. He goes, "Why don't you call them? It can never hurt to get a second quote." So I made the call and Riley answered. I told him how I made my vehicle online and how it said they had that specific car there on their lot. I asked certain questions about it, and Riley was eager to help me. He went out and actually got the packages that were listed on the car to verify everything to me. I finally asked what would be the bottom dollar, out the door price. He called me back within 10 minutes with a quote that blew Cookeville Nissan out of the water! That one phone call saved me $1400!! Now, how can you really beat that!? After that call back from Riley, I called the manager at Cookeville Nissan and told him what I had found and the price. He tried to get me to believe it was some gimmick, hidden fees, or something just to get me in the door. He told me to go check it out that it might be worth it, but if it didn't work out to come back to Cookeville Nissan. He also told me he couldn't lose that much money. Yet, he kept reassuring me that if one Nissan dealership could sell a car at that price so can other dealerships. Needless to say, I called Riley back Thursday night to make sure everything was going to work out right. He told me to just call him, and he would have the car ready for me and waiting. :) I made the phone call Friday afternoon and was up there by 6PM. Riley was supposed to get off work at 6, but he stayed to help us! He had the car ready and waiting for me to look at it. He was more helpful than the other salesmen at Cookeville Nissan. He showed me a few more tricks the car had, and I said I'd take it. He had it sent to detail while the paperwork was being filled out. After the paperwork, my car was sitting right outside the door waiting for me. He went over a few more things, and offered to hook up my phone to the bluetooth on the car! I was very happy with the service from Newton Nissan and Riley Groves. He made my first car buying experience a breeze! I will definitely recommend my friends and family to him and the dealership! To make it even better, I got a phone call today from Riley asking me if I was enjoying my new Altima. I answered of course! I love it! I bought the car Friday evening and already had a followup on Monday. :) Now that is great service! Thank you Newton Nissan and Riley Groves for my car! I had been searching for three weeks for a used car. My previous car had been totaled by no fault of my own. With no gap insurance finding financing was a little challenging. I was completely blown away by her honesty, kindness, non-judgemental stance on my situation, and overall concern for my intent of purchasing a used car with low mileage with a monthly payment I could afford. The entire staff at Newton Nissan of Gallatin was unbelievable to work with. Each one of them worked with me knowing my situation and ensured me that I would be well taken care of. And I was! I have already been telling others about Newton Nissan and the fabulous customer service I have received. Words cannot express the gratitude of I have for Linda and the staff at Newton Nissan. I inquired about a truck online. I was initially contacted by Mike who gave me a great price. I wound up working with Bill the next day, as Mike was off. They did not miss a beat. My husband and I were in a head on collision 2 weeks ago when an F-150 heat us head on and totaled our car. At the time we drove a 2006 Nissan Maxima which I loved. Once We HAD to buy a car within a week and my husband was leaving in 2 days for a 2 week business trip so we were running out of time. Ryan literally dragged out every car we asked him to and was very patient with us as we got into and test drove many of them. I was stuck on getting a Maxima but we weren't able to find exactly what we wanted within our price range until Bill, the sales manager, pretty much created a close to perfect solution for us by taking a used 2010 Maxima and adding heated leather seats to it making it a fit for us. The whole staff was very friendly and accomodating. We would highly recommend this dealership! More
