Hey Scott, Thanks for reaching out! I'm happy to look into this for you. I understand that you went to a general mechanic in town who guessed that the issue in your AC line would be $300 to repair. However, to fully diagnose the issue, you came to us and we let you know that our technicians would have to remove part of the engine first in order to access the AC line. When you gave us the go-ahead to proceed with the diagnostic, our certified technician was able to find that the issue required the whole AC line to be replaced, which runs from the front of the vehicle to the back. I know that's a bummer because AC repairs are costly and not fun, but I want to reassure you that our certified technicians have your best interest in mind (and they don't cut corners when it comes to fixing your vehicle the right way)! Your statement is false. I got a call letting me know that the mechanic (sorry, technician) had already removed the part of the engine to properly diagnose the a/c line. Also, the local mechanic who sent me to your service department first took my vehicle to your service department and showed your technician where the a/c was leaking. The $300 came from your technician, not my mechanic. I understand your technician couldn't fix it for $300. I don't like being charged $124 when I show up to pick up my vehicle that was not fixed.
