Newins Bay Shore Ford - Service Center

i brought my vehicle in for service, late afternoon. i did have an appt for the next morning as per the tech rep. i had to constantly call the tech for an update, the rep said he would call be back. never did have an appt for the next morning as per the tech rep. i had to constantly call the tech for an update, the rep said he would call be back. never did. i only wanted to know if they looked at it. i understand all businesses are working with limited staff. when you tell someone you’re going to call them then you should call them back, even if you have to say I have no information for you. At one point I felt the representative was avoiding my calls. I finally asked for the manager of the service department, he was very nice and did try to help me, I did explain my concerns about his representative not getting back to me when he said he would he did apologize, which I didn’t need an apology from him. I just want them to be respectful of people’s time as well as their own. I took my car out of there 2 1/2 days later and brought it to another Ford dealer, who have been more than helpful. I will never go back there nor will I send my family and friends there. i had purchased my vehicle there 2 yrs. ago. And I’ve also noticed I did not see any women sales reps in the show room. possible that has changed. it feels a little sexist and disrespectful towards women. margaret More

Disappointed with the fact that I received very little info while I checked in.. had to wait 3 hours for a oil change and inspection. My service associate was not wearing a mask. I was told 2 hours into info while I checked in.. had to wait 3 hours for a oil change and inspection. My service associate was not wearing a mask. I was told 2 hours into my wait that there was an inside waiting room, after sitting outside that whole time. And finally I asked to have my alignment checked and a side view mirror looked at upon making my appt and when they took my car, and this was never done. I had to call them to find out estimate after I saw my car returned to the lot. And that is when I found out they did not do what I asked. VERY DISAPPOINTED! More

I have been coming here now for approximately 5-6 yrs now for servicing my vehicles. The staff is courteous and professional and get the job done!! Like most dealership service They try to push certain thing for servicing my vehicles. The staff is courteous and professional and get the job done!!
