Honesty Goes A Long Way! Before driving onto the lot, my husband and I had agreed that we were “just looking” and NOT purchasing ANYTHING!!! Not even a bottle of water. Once Before driving onto the lot, my husband and I had agreed that we were “just looking” and NOT purchasing ANYTHING!!! Not even a bottle of water. Once we reached the lot and parked the car, we confirmed our intentions of NOT PURCHASING and put on our game faces. We were greeted by Matt Schaeffer with his warm and gentle smile. There went my game face. My husband maintained his position and explained to Matt that we were only looking. Matt invited us to walk with him, and the rest is history. We bought a truck! EVERYTHING he conveyed to us was true. He guaranteed us a painless experience and he delivered. He guaranteed a low and fair price, that’s what we received. He even went to the nearby gas station to purchase a pain reliever and coke for my husband, who now had a headache. I would suspect the headache was from trying to maintain his poker face that was obviously difficult after the test drive. The entire staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The staff was patient with us and our many questions. They did not rush or pressure us. They kept referring to us as family. After the AWESOME deal we received, we felt like family. Thank You Matt Schaeffer and the entire New Smyrna Chevrolet Team for your honesty, integrity, and an awesome experience. Because you kept your word, we will keep ours. SOLD ME A TRUCK THAT HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT I purchased a used Silverado on 6-1-2017. The car fax on the truck was "clean" when I purchased the truck. 3 months later, the roof started to leak an I purchased a used Silverado on 6-1-2017. The car fax on the truck was "clean" when I purchased the truck. 3 months later, the roof started to leak and took it to my local dealer for repair. They told me they would not repair it because it had been in an accident and they cannot be sure if the leak was from the repairs or from a defective manufacturer part. I called Mario who sold me the truck about it and had to drive to New Smyrna Beach Chevrolet multiple times to get it fixed. After complaining about the truck being in an accident and not being told, all of the sudden they told me that there was in fact an accident reported on the carfax. They will not return my calls and would not even respond to the BBB complaint I filed against them. I had to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the Florida Attorney Generals office concerning this issue. More

Warm dealership on a cold day. New years day I went to three dealerships before I landed at New Smyrna Chevrolet. The other dealerships just turfed me off but Rick Mook at N.S.B. Chevrolet welcomed us and sat with us and most important listened to my needs and found what I was looking for. This was the first time in my life that I actually enjoyed looking for a new vehicle and now that I found a great dealership that I am comfortable with I hope to start shopping for a new vehicle every four years instead of putting the ordeal off until the purchasing of a new vehicle becomes a mad rush.
