Walk-in 1 hour Prior to Closing, Walk-out as a Camry Owner I was in the market for a 2018/2019 Toyota Camry and was shopping pre-owned as well as brand new at several dealerships from the Toyota in Woodbury, N I was in the market for a 2018/2019 Toyota Camry and was shopping pre-owned as well as brand new at several dealerships from the Toyota in Woodbury, NY to Parkway Toyota in Englewood Cliff, New Jersey dealership. Was not having much luck and the prior dealership either didn’t have the color I was looking for or the trim level I wanted. The one that did, was not willing to negotiate with me with the level of honesty I would have appreciated. I was starting to give up until I decided to just show up at Westport Toyota unannounced Friday evening an hour prior to closing time of 6PM. I was immediately paired with sales rep Al Alphonse and we discuss what I was looking for, Pearl white Toyota Camry XSE model with the Cockpit red interior and black top. Al informed me that they actually have 2 brand new in stock! And within minutes, I was sitting in one and test driving it. After some back and forth of negotiation on what I thought was already a good deal, I told AL I just needed “the cherry on-top” and that’s when floor manager Donny stepped in. They were close to closing time at this point and he made me a final offer that I couldn’t refuse, so that was how I became a new proud owner of a Toyota Camry. Al told me before leaving that he would text me the next day at 9 AM to get the car ready for me and that was exactly what he did. 9 AM with precision the following day, he was able to get the car fully ready for me as soon as I showed up and was gone within minutes after signing more document with the title clerk. I would rate Westport Toyota with the highest rating for their customer courtesy, honesty, and friendliness. I am a now a loyal customer here and plan to take my new car here for servicing and if the opportunity ever arrives for me to get another Toyota, this dealership would be my first and only choice. More
