I was hesitant to go here because of a not so great experience a few years ago, but it was the closest Toyota dealer around. Sean was a great help. Very open and honest, up front gentleman. As friendly as they come. He answered all y questions as fast as one could. He was great with texting email and returning phone calls. He even stayed late one of the evenings to help me. I was upset that I couldn't make a purchase in the end. But was very happy to see the new management has done a great job at tho dealership. More
After contacting Sean Glenn originally about the Prius we ended up purchasing, all steps from there on out were incredibly smooth. He was able, with the assistance of the GM and Financial Mgr, to get us down to a price within our comforts, a monthly payment we can afford and the car we wanted. The process was quick, Sean was extremely friendly and helpful. After we finalized the purchase, he helped us set up all touch screen info on the dashboard, helped us navigate this new electric system we were unaccustomed too, and made sure all questions were answered. Even after a week following our purchase, when I spotted a small chip in the windshield, Sean was quick on his feet to get us in, get the chip fixed and make sure we were satisfied. He's very customer friendly, very well put together and genuinely appreciates his costumers. More
I ended up buying a different car at a different dealer (closer to where I live), but especially Shawna was extremely courteous and helpful without being pushy. I would definitely go there again. I’m having difficulty finding the words to accurately express the gratitude I feel for Jeff Symeon, Jeff Carrington, and the rest of the team at New Country Toyota. I keep coming back to the old standard express the gratitude I feel for Jeff Symeon, Jeff Carrington, and the rest of the team at New Country Toyota. I keep coming back to the old standards of “Excellence” and “Far Exceeding My Expectations,” which are true, but do not paint a complete picture. Through the process of leasing my second Hylander Hybrid, and purchasing a station car for my husband, I gained more than a couple of great cars, and a reliable contact at a dealership, I also made a new friend in Jeff Symeon who has earned my, and my husband’s, loyalty for life. Although our first time working together was pretty straight forward, leasing my second Hylander Hybrid, Jeff went above and beyond, way above and beyond, to help me find the perfect station car for my husband. I had mentioned to him back in May, when leasing my Hylander, that at some point we would be in the market for a station car. Thinking, at the time, that we were a good two years away from making that purchase, I had no idea that three months later my husband would finally come off of a four-year waitlist for a parking permit at the Westport train station. Jeff had been gracious enough to give me his cell phone number months earlier to help facilitate the final delivery of my Hylander, and I shot him a quick text letting him know that the time had come, and we were in the market for a second car. Within minutes of receiving my text, despite it being a rare and precious day off, he responded and made an appointment with me for the very next morning. But, I didn’t have to wait 24-hours before he started working for me, that evening he sent me links to possible cars, fitting my husband’s specific parameters, available throughout the New Country network. I was able to walk into the dealership the next day with a list of cars I was interested in purchasing. If only it had been so easy…unfortunately the cars that had piqued my interest were no longer available. But that only made Jeff redouble his efforts. At this point I had mentioned that my husband was on a business trip that was not going well, and that nothing would make me happier than to have a BMW, with a big red bow on it, sitting in my garage when he returned that Friday evening. That was all Jeff needed to hear and he literally called on the big guns, rallied the troops, and pulled a rabbit out of his hat. Needles to say, both he, and Jeff Carrington, the General Manager of New Country Toyota, made me a very happy woman, and my husband a very surprised and thrilled owner of a beautiful 2006 BMW 325xi. Over the course of three days they not only found the exact car my husband wanted, they took it though a detailed inspection, put on two new high performance tires, fixed dings and scratches, and made it look brand new. The pie de resistance was Jeff Symeon personally driving it to my house, backing it into my garage, and putting a big red bow on top. Throughout the entire process Jeff was incredible. He was kind, patient, genuinely caring, and always immediately available to me whenever I had a question. Finding and purchasing my husband’s car was a buying experience like no other. All of the time and energy invested in making it happen was well worth it when the garage door lifted and I saw the look of shock and delight on my typically stoic husband’s face. I cannot say thank you enough to Jeff Symeon, Jeff Carrington, and the rest of the team at New Country Toyota. I would also like to mention that I had both cars treated with New Country’s Environmental Protection Plan (EPP), and WOW WEE WOW do they look great! Having the Hylander treated when I first leased it was a no brainer, its black with tan leather interior. I have two very young children and I knew that the interior was going to be mistreated, and that the car was rarely, if ever, going to make it into my over crowded garage. Six months later I found myself parked next to an identical Hylander Hybrid that had obviously not been treated with EPP. My car looked like it had just driven off of the New Country lot; it hadn’t been to a car wash in at least three months, and the other one was noticeably faded, covered in fingerprint smudges, and water spots. People stop me all of the time to tell me what a great looking car I have. I had my husband’s car treated after I saw what an amazing job Toyota did restoring its color. We’ve had it for about four months now and it still looks as beautiful, rich, and shiny as the day Jeff drove it into my driveway. More

I just leased a 4runner and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with this dealership and would gladly recommend to anyone interested in a Toyota. Sales manager Vince was honest and helpful from the get- experience with this dealership and would gladly recommend to anyone interested in a Toyota. Sales manager Vince was honest and helpful from the get-go, he and Steve worked with me to find the car that best fit our family's needs. They are beyond professional and did everything they could to go above and beyond and make us feel like all of our needs were being taken care of. The process was fast and smooth, and with a child arriving at the same time, Vince did everything he could to make the timing work for us. I look forward to a lasting relationship with this team. This dealership has terrible prices. Their initial offer fora Prius was over $1,500 more that the price offered through my car buying service. They refused to negotiate their price more than $100, and claim fora Prius was over $1,500 more that the price offered through my car buying service. They refused to negotiate their price more than $100, and claimed that they would lose money if they sold the car any cheaper. They must be used to clueless Westport buyers. More
This dealership way overcharges for their used cars. They also have the nerve to charge 499.00 for a doc. fee or "conveyance" fee. Do yourself a favor and buy from a dealership in NY state. In New Yor They also have the nerve to charge 499.00 for a doc. fee or "conveyance" fee. Do yourself a favor and buy from a dealership in NY state. In New York there is a law governing dealerships with a cap of no more than 75.00 for this fee. It is for them to shuffle your paperwork and to put more money in their pockets. Also once you get your feet inside after a test drive you are immediatley sat down with this General Manager guy Jeff, who tries to shmooze you and butter you up. Don't fall for it. They just want to sell you a car and that's IT. More
I went to this dealer to purchase a 2011 Toyota Camry SE. The price I found online was the price they had, There wasn't much leeway in negotiating the price down further (I could probably have saved 2-300 mo The price I found online was the price they had, There wasn't much leeway in negotiating the price down further (I could probably have saved 2-300 more dollars) but regardless the Sales consultant was nice, respectful, and knowledgeable. I happened to choose the car on 1/1/13 So banks were closed but I went the following day to sign the paperwork and pick up the car. The sales personnel is fine but BE CAREFUL of the Finance managers. They will try to trick you into buying a extended warranty or extra bells and whistles. Do not do this!!! There is one thing they "forget" to tell you, you can buy these extended warranties and service packages later on within a specific time frame and in fact you can probably buy them from another Toyota dealer from across the country(over internet or phone ) for more than 50% off of what they force on you. Overall My initial experience was nice. Experience with being duped by the Finance guy was not but I went back the following day and they redid my paperwork and were very genuine. I would recommend anyone to this dealer but Do your research and be careful of the actual finance/payment part of the car. More
