My Service Experience at New Country Toyota of Westport, CT 9/20/24 received a call from New Country Toyota of Westport to schedule 10k service, explained I was traveling and would call when we got home. CT 9/20/24 received a call from New Country Toyota of Westport to schedule 10k service, explained I was traveling and would call when we got home. 9/23/24 Called NC Toyota to schedule 10k maintenance, said I would be waiting for the vehicle as I couldn’t drop it off. I was asked by the service representative do you have any issues, I said yes. A. The floor mat on passenger side O-Ring that’s used to hold mat down was missing and need repair. B. I had what looked like a Plastic Assembly that holds wires or some part under the dash board fell out and hit my foot while driving, asked they put it back in the correct place. C. I asked if my auto start and stop of the Engine be disabled when you press the brake. She recorded my issues and gave me a Date of 9/30/24 Monday at 11:45 AM. 9/30/24 at 11:40 I checked in at the service stand and I was directed to the service agent logging in appointments. I was asked when she opened my appointment if I had issues, I asked if they logged in my concerns when I made the appointment on 9/23/24 and there was no record or entry? I Explained all I had already told them in Items A-C. 9/30/24 at approximately 2PM service representative said my battery was bad, truck was in my possession 9 months, then they said it wasn’t my truck, but someone else vehicle? 9/30/24 at 3pm I was told my service was complete, it was tire rotation and oil change, besides putting the cable holder back and fix floor mat! Waited 3.3 Hours? 9/30/24 While driving out of the parking lot, many customers were walking around and not paying attention to moving Trucks (2024 Tundra) going very slow, heard a noise around my truck and checked I didn’t hit a parked car, continued slow. Before having a chance to leave the parking lot, a Salesman ran over to me and yelled stop and was holding a lug-nut for a wheel, he went around my truck and found the right rear lugs were hand tight and falling off, had I left the dealership most likely my wheel would fall off in traffic. Drove back to the front of the garage and when I stopped, another lug fell off and went into a storm drain. Service manager Scott came out and apologized and said he would make this up to me by giving an extra service when my 2 years of free maintenance ended. I said, we all make mistakes, and no one is perfect. Now it’s 3:30pm and my day is shot. Got about 2.5 miles away from the dealership and my dash lit up with LOW OIL LEVEL, now I am angry and disappointed. I went back to dealer and said my dash is showing low oil after they had just completed an Oil change. I was down two quarts! I went into the service manager’s office and demanded they log a complaint that my engine wasn’t given the correct amount of oil after an Oil change. 4:20pm I finally got home from my 11:45am appointment (a 10-minute drive), I checked the passenger floor mat, and it was NOT fixed. I called Scott at 4:27pm and left a message to complain they didn’t fix the mat on a New 2024 Toyota Tundra Limited. After not hearing back from Scott I called the service manager the next day and got his voice mail, asked for a call back, nothing for the whole week. On October 1, 2024 I received an email from the service manager asking me about the quality of my Service!! The email had the Service manager as Follows: Greetings John - Thank you for servicing your Toyota with us. Please know that we truly appreciate and value your business. I am following up with you regarding your service visit on 9/30/2024. Our number one goal is Ultimate Customer Satisfaction.
