On 4/15/2022 I had a service appointment to have a wheel alignment on a 2014 CLA 250. At 7:10 a.m. the service advisor Jonathan Karimi prepared the paperwork for the service for $260 and advised that it wi alignment on a 2014 CLA 250. I expected that for the price that is double compared to other dealerships the service would take a double amount of time also. At 8:00 a.m. I observed that the car wasn't even moved from the place I left it. When I asked the service advisor the answer was "I told you two hours". I asked for the car back and his response was "take it, the key is inside". More
Probably the worst customer experience I’ve ever received in my life. Not only were the staff extremely unprofessional, condescending, irritable when asked basic questions, but they hung up the phone on me s in my life. Not only were the staff extremely unprofessional, condescending, irritable when asked basic questions, but they hung up the phone on me several times “on accident” various days when I would call to check on the status of my vehicle. Everyone I spoke with had different answers. “I ordered your part”, “I don’t know where your part is”, “You didn’t pay for anything so we ordered nothing” “Your part is here”. Ridiculous! No one had real answers until harassed. Even Mercedes headquarters said they could track the item and see where it was in progress. Also dishonest with pricing. The price increases for a job they’d determined during a service appointment a month prior was highway robbery. How did the price of something simple increase by $500 just a month later? (Increased labor fees) Other Mercedes’ locations as well as a outside dealership warned me in regards to this location that the pricing was unreasonable and the customer service was nonexistent. Unfortunately my car had already been towed to this location. The other dealerships ended up being correct. I’ve never heard such sarcasm when talking to staff until I got to this location. From the servicing staff to the managers, (Both named John) everyone always sounded as if they were having a bad day and were uninterested in their customers. Sarcastic responses and annoyed cadences to minor questions. My car sat for several days at this dealership and when requesting a loaner every excuse was given that none would be available. Magically when my part arrived which meant I would have to pay for the entire job ($2400) now they were able to find a vehicle within the hour. Negating the fact I had to call out of work that entire week due to no transportation. The afternoon they completed the job I was harassed to bring back the loaner even though I had extended time based on their loaner policy. The supervisor also told me he’d drive my car to me (because I was working) and I can pay now & to give them their vehicle instead of waiting less than 3hrs for my return. When I finally came to get my vehicle, the outside was still dirty. Hadn’t been washed at all. Even when Mercedes services a vehicle or does an oil change or any service whatsoever they wash the car. I guess the minor rain drops that day were sufficient. The staff act as though they are doing us a favor by fixing our cars and with the amount of money paid at a LUXURY dealership this treatment is disgusting. I will never return to this location or patronize this specific location again. Even a quick phone call to the North Haven Mercedes dealership was profoundly different along with the pricing for the same job. The staff were cheerful and eager to assist with any concerns. Next time I know where to have my vehicle towed to. DO NOT spend money at New Country Mercedes Hartford location! The positive reviews are from their own staff! As a registered nurse in the state of Connecticut (#102074) and single mother of five I decided that I was going to treat myself to a new vehicle for my birthday this year. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic we have been working harder in the hospitals due to lack of adequate staffing. It’s been hard but extremely rewarding. Especially when I have been privileged to work alongside many phenomenal nurses, fantastic nursing aides, fantabulous respiratory therapist, excellent doctors, incredible APRNs, amazing housekeepers, wonderful secretaries and the list goes on and on. I don’t want to miss out on recognizing any one working in the hospitals but if I continue giving accolades for the awesome people who have worked next to me I will never get to my review. Everyone working in the healthcare system deserves the highest accolades for a job well done throughout this pandemic. I am blessed and privileged to be named among such esteemed professionals. Regrettably, and with deep sadness I have to state that I made a huge financial mistake when I purchased a black CPO 2019 Mercedes Benz GLA 250 in January 2022 from New Country Mercedes Motor Cars. This dealership has been terrible to me since I signed on the dotted line. This whole purchase experience has been horrendous and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. It’s been emotionally taxing to deal with blatant disrespect and disregard for my requests. It’s degrading and disrespectful for the finance manager Mike Viera to hung up the phone in my face again. Today I called at 3:35pm and Christopher transferred me to Joe the sales manager. I left a message on his voicemail and he returned my call in less than ten minutes. That was a superb response time given that prior to this I would call Mike in finance and wait hours upon hours. Then I would still have to call back and leave multiple messages for Mike to return my calls. Thus for Joe to call me back in such a short time frame was refreshing. It was completely unexpected but delightful all the same. So, thank you Joe for your thoughtfulness in respecting my time. Your colleagues can learn a lot from your example. Okay, back to my issues with the finance manager Mike. Joe transferred me to Mike and again I requested a timeline for issuing my refund for the warranties that I canceled on February 12,2022. He said that it will take 4-6 weeks from the date of cancellation to process the refund. I informed him that I had previously spoken to the warranty company and they informed me that after they processed the cancellation it was up to the dealership to issue the refund. Mike did not seem pleased that I did my homework prior to speaking with him. He told me that it should post to my Capital One account within two weeks and hung up the phone in my face. Conversation ended at 3:51 pm today henceforth I am writing this review. I believe that it’s completely unprofessional and unacceptable for anyone to hung up the phone on you because they are not pleased with your questions. Thusly, this dealership should definitely review their customer service policy. I feel horrible about my purchase experience because of interactions with this finance manager. They took my money and now how I feel doesn’t matter. That’s not right. Just because I am not purchasing anything more doesn’t warrant such egregious disrespect. The reason why I am writing this review today is solely because it was not the first time. Thus, to be treated horribly time and time again is not acceptable conduct for any business. If I ever treated a patient the way that Mike has treated me I would have been reprimanded. Oh, that reminds me to all my fantabulous phenomenal patients who makes the profession of nursing so rewarding, Kudos to you all. Thanks again for anyone who read this review and is helped in anyway. Be careful and mindful when you are dealing with Mike Viera the finance manager at New Country Mercedes Benz. I hope and pray that everyone else has a better experience than I did. More
Just bought a nice pre-owned Mercedes. Mirela was a splendid sales rep: knowledgeable, friendly, professional. She is clearly an asset. The entire purchasing experience was a good one. It was accomplished quickly but without haste, and a very minor issue over keys was resolved to everyone's satisfaction. In addition, Madison was a most helpful concierge. She explained the car's features thoroughly and with patience (needed and welcome in my case) and made sure I understood everything before I left. As I say, this was a very positive buying experience. The dealership is conveniently located, is clean and has a nice waiting area. But mostly it has two really important assets in Mirela and Madison. More

The highlight was when I was helped by my service advisor, Mr. Sammy Cruz = THE EPITOME OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE & THE PRIME EXAMPLE THAT ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL SHOULD FOLLOW!!! Sammy Cruz is the reason why ALL should bring their Mercedes-Benz vehicles into New Country Mercedes-Benz service! Sammy was BEYOND understanding to my concerns, and made sure that I understood my service/repair. GONE ARE THE DAYS & STEREOTYPES where a dealership service center is a "fearful place for service", as all you have to do is SEE SAMMY CRUZ & HE'LL GIVE YOU THE RESPECTFUL & CONSIDERATE SERVICE ALL SHOULD BE GIVEN WHEN VISITING A DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER = SAMMY CRUZ DESERVES MORE THAN 5-STARS...as there are not enough stars and/or ratings that can measure the AMAZING level of service/treatment I'd received from Sammy Cruz with New Country Mercedes-Benz!!! Just needed a very quick service today, and it turned out to be very quick. Just needed tire pressure adjusted and Ron Chwalek took care of it. Went for a diagnostic and they told me that air compressor is not working? Charged me $265 and I get home . Pushed all connections together and pump works fine . Thank you for doing nothing! I have 3 items I want addressed on our 48,000 mi car....they want $250 to diagnose each item...$750 and nothing is fixed? I agree to $500 in diagnosis, now I go to the next window to get the loaner...I have my DL, insurance card and a wad of cash, they want a credit card which is at home in my work truck....nope, nothing, they don't even have a shuttle driver to bring me home. I wind up taking my car home and wasting 2 hrs of my time for nothing. This is Sonderclasse service? I think not. More
