Just picked up my new RX350 from Lexus of Westport. As usual, my family and I were treated as nicely as could be expected. Our sales representative Carl was very helpful and professional. He lived up to his word on all counts from picking out he exact color I wanted to making sure that I understood how to use all of the technology in the car. The General Sales Manager personally thanked us for our repeat business and was very friendly as well. I wouldn't even think of buying a Lexus from anywhere else. More
I had a problem with my rain sensor for my windshield wipers and went to a Lexus service center very close (5 minutes)to where I work (New Haven). They told me whoever had the car before me had an after wipers and went to a Lexus service center very close (5 minutes)to where I work (New Haven). They told me whoever had the car before me had an aftermarket windshield installed and if I wanted the sensor fixed I needed a new Lexus windshield. I was very upset because i had owned the car only a month or so. I called Carl Brescia in Westport where I purchased the car and he assured me it would be taken care of by their service department. I went there and they were very professional, courteous, helpful and told me immediately that I do not need a new windshield and they would fix it. Well, to my amazement, it was fixed in about 10 minutes!!!!!!! They evev took the time to demonstrate to me that it did, indeed, work. What a relief. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Lexus of Westport. Shame, shame on that other Lexus service center. More
I went to this dealership on a Saturday in search of a new Lexus sedan. There was someone at the main desk who directed me towards the "showroom", which had 2 vehicles in it. There were plenty of seats and lots of people walking around. However NO ONE even said a mere "Hi" or "How are ya". Its not like they were full, as I don't recall seeing a single other customer. I waited a few minutes for someone to speak with me, and a frustrated me went up to this bald dude (I can't remember his name, but I do remember he had a Russian accent) and asked him if he could help me out. I told him how I loved Lexus and that my only concern was the waves of recalls Lexus was facing. I asked him what he had to say about how his dealership was dealing with it. He told me he never heard of any Lexus cars being recalled ever. Then he asked me what car I was driving. I answered him, thinking he would be able to make a suggestion based on that information and what I was looking for. Instead, he kept going on and on about how the car I was driving was bad, and how Lexus was better in every way he could think about... I had to stop him in the middle and just leave, since I saw how this guy was completely useless. I went to other Lexus dealerships (the ones in Greenwich, CT, Watertown, MA, and Northborough, MA) and found them to be much more pleasant and professional. I am thinking of closing the deal with one of those dealerships next week, and hopefully people interested in Lexus would read this review and REFRAIN FROM the WESTPORT Lexus Dealership. More
