I was promptly greeted in the parking lot,not long before closing.i took the gx 460 for a test drive and proceeded inside to make a deal. John and I had come up with some numbers to bring home to review wit closing.i took the gx 460 for a test drive and proceeded inside to make a deal. John and I had come up with some numbers to bring home to review with my wife,she wasn't to happy.i went in the next morning,sat with John and Michael and came up with a great deal. I told John,if the numbers don't work , I'm interested in the gs350 .He said which car do you want to be in, I said without question the gx .He made it happen! I can't say I would be as happy if I drove out today in the gs. I have purchased or leased a dozen cars over the last 15 years ,and John was one of the few people more concerned about what I wanted ,than to just sell me any car . I will definitely be back when my family needs another vehicle.and coincidentally,he sold my brother the same vehicle six months ago. thank you very much, Dave ferm More
While much of the time the Lexus automobile sells itself, although we WERE considering several other brands, our experience at New Country of Westport was one of professionalism, caring, understanding, and v although we WERE considering several other brands, our experience at New Country of Westport was one of professionalism, caring, understanding, and value. Fortunately, although we just walked in off the street, Mario Cortella was available to meet us and shepherd us through the sometimes onerous process of purchasing a car. He listened to what we wanted (we has 2 different models in mind) brought us out on a couple of test drives, and definitely "steered us" in the right direction. He was knowledgeable not only about the Lexus brand but was familiar with all of the other manufacturers under our consideration and was able to detail the plusses and minuses of each. He, along with Al Liosi, made sure that we had a truly outstanding experience in choosing, purchasing, delivering our new car and their follow up after the sale was efficient without being intrusive. Needless to say we will not only be back for our next purchase but would not even consider looking elsewhere. More
On my way to the dealership, I had no great expectation—I figured, since I made the appointment, I would keep it. However, from my initial contact with Michael Buchbinder, the Sales General Manager at Lexus of Westport and by extension with David Ceballos, my Sales Specialist, I was made to feel important, not just as a potential “buyer of a car” but as a person whose interest they cared about. David’s warm smile greeted me and made me feel quite at ease. This was not my first car purchase; so I have had my share of dealing with salesmen/women who would “go to the manager to get the best deal.” With these men, there was no haggling, no trying to put one over on me, only the facts! I felt very comfortable! I felt safe! I felt they were genuine! When I got to the selection of a car color, I was tossing around the idea of a choice between two colors—David was so patient and kind! It was not all about selling a car—he cared about how I felt. Thanks David! Michael B., you’re one of a kind! By the time I got to Ricky Garcia, the Finance Guy, and signed the papers, I had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming, or something. I never thought a luxury car-buying experience could be so seamless! Lexus of Westport, there is no other car dealership for me, my family, my friends, my neighbors, and all those acquaintances that I can get the word out to. John was very warm and accommodating. We didn't have an appointment the day we went to the dealership but John was happy to see us and quickly arranged a test drive. Ricky was nice as well, very no nonsense and to the point. Appreciated how quickly he was able to find the best financing option for us and reassured us every step of the way. Exceptional experience from my first online inquiry to drive away with leased 2013 Lexus CT200. Audri literally called within minutes of my Internet search. She continued to be extremely responsive, ret drive away with leased 2013 Lexus CT200. Audri literally called within minutes of my Internet search. She continued to be extremely responsive, returning and initiating calls. She provided a very fair lease package, much better than a nearby Westchester dealer and one in NYC. She even improved the lease after I requested. Audri was very professional throughout, and was helpful reviewing how to use each car feature. Ricky is very professional and efficient completing all the necessary paperwork and presenting the many add-on packages available. Presentation was low key, without pressure. (The cost/benefit of each requires careful analysis before deciding whether or not to purchase any of these appealing packages). At the end of the 27 month lease, I'd be very happy to work with both Audri and Ricky again More

As soon as he asked John if he had any SC430s in stock, John responds, "Is this a joke?". We never got to the bottom of why he would say that, but let me say that right off the bat I was not a fan of John. Is that any way to make a first impression? We agree to a test drive. John pulls up and walks around to the passenger side, folds up the seat and says, "I'm sure not going to sit back there!" He then turns to me and motions for ME to get into the back seat that he just refused to sit in. I told him, "Well, I'm not going to sit back there either!" to which he responds, "I guess you're staying here then!" We had just come from the Infinity dealership looking at the G37 convertible. The dealer over there said the same thing, "I'm certainly not folding myself into the back seat!" but here's the difference: he then said, "Have a good test drive guys, I'll be here when you come back." and he let us take the car. I'm 39 years old and my friend (the buyer) is 51. We aren't some snot nosed kids who are looking to waste time joyriding a car. Even if your dealership has a policy about salesmen riding along on test drives, John Blank should have sucked it up and gotten his butt into the back seat, and not been so insulting to his potential buyers friend (and potential future car buyer!). We were given to the salesman John Blank as the “unluck” of the draw. Long story short, I was less than impressed with John Blank’s attitude, level of respect and customer service. After the test drive I asked to speak with John Blank’s manager, and Al Liosi Jr came out to meet with me. Al was basically the exact opposite of John Blank. He was respectful, straight forward, and even had a strong handshake that anyone in sales knows is important. Al walked me to a closed office to hear my complaints about John Blank. As I said, he took my criticism of John well and apologized for what had happened. He asked me if there was anything he could do, and if my friend and I wanted another test drive. He truly understands customer service and understands that the customer is always right, especially when dealing with an incompetent salesman such as John Blank. What can you take away from this? Firstly…do not do business with John Blank. Secondly, if you happen to get another salesman, you will know that their boss Al Liosi Jr is a standup guy and understands how to make the customer happy. Mario was extremely knowledgeable regarding the car I was purchasing and was even able to tell me the pros and cons regarding the Lexus and other car I was considering, to the point that I was able to make t purchasing and was even able to tell me the pros and cons regarding the Lexus and other car I was considering, to the point that I was able to make the best decision for my needs.
