Avoid Lexus of Westport. Under their new management, this has to be the absolute worst dealership experience I’ve had. I have been a loyal customer since 2021, having purchased a used IS and later a 2025 IS from them. However, when I recently went to buy a 2026 GX, I was told they would only sell the vehicle to residents of Fairfield County. Imagine treating a repeat customer this way, refusing a sale simply because I live in New Haven County. It makes zero sense to reward loyalty with an arbitrary restriction. If you want a dealership that actually values repeat business, skip Westport. There are plenty of other dealerships. More
The service department is not honoring commitments made before the dealership was sold. They have lost me as a customer for life. There are other dealers in the area. Very short sighted. After returning to Connecticut from three years of working and living in Europe, I visited New Country Lexus of Westport (with four large boxes of pizza!) within a week of my return to personally than working and living in Europe, I visited New Country Lexus of Westport (with four large boxes of pizza!) within a week of my return to personally thank Mr. Kris Brown from the Lexus Service department. During my absence, my wife and daughter had been bringing our RX 350 and IS 250 in for regular maintenance. Kris ensured both vehicles were serviced and maintained to our complete satisfaction, meeting Lexus's high standards and our expectations as customers. Although we have other options, Kris Brown's honesty, integrity, and professionalism have kept us loyal to New Country Lexus of Westport for the past seven years. My car was stolen during a huge snowstorm. I didn’t know what to do. My brain was going in a million different directions. All I knew is I needed a new car and I didn’t know where to go. I called the dealership about a specific car I saw online and Josh was on the other end of the call. He calmed me down and told me that he’d let me know if they were gonna be there tomorrow because more snow is on the way early in the morning. I got a call from him saying he’d be there and I met him there and he put me at ease and took the time to show me all of the cars I wanted to see and answer all the questions I had. That’s when we found my dream car and he was able to walk me through that whole process. It was honestly the best car buying experience I’ve had and I’ve been around for a little while;) when I pulled up to pick up my new car, it had a big red bow on it and looked so pretty it really put a smile on my face and a happy ending to a not so great time . I want to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable, professional salesman and a really nice guy! I wish him nothing but the best and want him to know how grateful I am for that experience. I will be recommending him to everyone and will look forward to working with him again as soon as we need.
