I returned to Lexus of Westport to purchase and install four new tires on my Lexus IS 250. Mr. Kris Brown of the Service department was very helpful, as usual. It was fortunate that I had the tires replace four new tires on my Lexus IS 250. Mr. Kris Brown of the Service department was very helpful, as usual. It was fortunate that I had the tires replaced at Lexus because during the replacement of the tires, they also had the opportunity to check to see how the brakes were doing since they had replaced the rotors, calipers and front brake pads a few months ago. Kris personally witnessed the remaining thickness of the pads and cautioned me about excess wear and tear of the rear brake pads. They checked out the entire brake system at no charge and found everything to be perfectly fine. Instead of recommending immediate replacement of the brake pads, he recommended that we keep monitoring the wear and tear of the pads and will have to probably replace them at the next service which is due in 4,000 miles. This is what I like about Lexus. They do not force unnecessary repairs to be carried out every time the car is brought in. More

My experience with sales person Hector Diaz was as good as purchasing a car gets. He was not pushy, and when discussing my decision with me was reasonable, patient, and candid. For the price of service, the service department is lacking in customer skills. If, you call and leave a message, no one returns your call.
