My wife and I were in the market for a used Lexus and had the pleasure of having Mike Morano and Nick Belli work with us in finding the right car. We were pleased to see the quality of their inventory of pre the pleasure of having Mike Morano and Nick Belli work with us in finding the right car. We were pleased to see the quality of their inventory of pre-owned certified cars and settled on a Lexus RX. The negotiations were friendly, fair, straight forward, and honest. Minor Issues with the car openly discussed and left to our discretion if we wanted them taken care of by Lexus. Nick and Mike worked with us and offered a very fair settlement for the price of the car. The car was serviced, detailed and ready to go with a full tank of gas and a big red bow on the hood. As opposed to other car dealerships, there is a strong sense of comfort when you drive away with in a used car from the New Country Pre-Owned Certified Dealership on Kings Highway in Fairfield. The car is great and the service from Mike and Nick was absolutely wonderful. More

So last Saturday started with me driving 3 hrs from Boston MA to them to purchase a used car. I got there around 10:45am. I meet up with Mike and we took the car out for a ride to make sure I liked it. Boston MA to them to purchase a used car. I got there around 10:45am. I meet up with Mike and we took the car out for a ride to make sure I liked it. Everything was good we already had a set price as he has sent me P&S to get a check from my bank. (Which I had on me). We sit down at his desk about 1150am and he tells me I have to go the other dealership to do the paperwork and they can see me till 2pm? So I have to sit there for 2hrs just to start my paperwork!! Remember I have my own funds so no financing with them at all. I really have no choice as I have no car so I have sit and wait, and Mike knew I had to back in Boston at 5pm to pick up my wife at school and go to work. So I sit at the other dealer till about 1pm and ask if there is anyone else I can see? Nope. Really so there is only one finance person??? At a Lexus dealer yea right. We now get to 215pm I'm finally in the finance managers office and LOW and BEHOLD the price has magically change by $380. After some back and forth the admit to making a mistake on the paperwork and didn't include the reg fees for MA, Ok fine we split the difference (Still not happy because that wasn't he price on the P&S). We get through all the paperwork and I ask for my REG as they were supposed to do my plate swap for me, NOPE didn't do anything. GREAT. I ask Mario when I should expect my reg he tells me 30 days! UM I only have 7 calendar days to get a inspection in MA. He says OH? Call Monday and talk to Val. Ok Fine so now its past 3pm NO way will I be in Boston by 5pm call the wife tell her I'm late call work tell them I'm late and leave. Still upset. I call Val Monday and she tells me she has no clue when I'll get my REG maybe Friday she says( Today Still nothing). I've called three times today and not got to speak to her once. So before I bought the car I had some concerns about the front and rear end links as I was told the service the car had the were loose. Mike told me the car was gone through and they were fine. Why did I believe him? Because they are both shot and I just spent $400 fixing them. An today As of 3/14/14 6 days after I bought the car, I have spent 400$ fixing something I was told was not bad, and have no reg for the car! What do you think will happen next, I won’t see my reg till when?? All I know is if it’s not today I will have to rent a car to go to work and who should pay for the rental. Them !New Country Lexus of Westport. Will they NOPE. Why cause they don't care. Worst place. If you read this please stay away from them. Worst experience I have ever had anywhere. Kasey the receptionist and Gino the shuttle driver where the only nice people there, Actually only ones who tried helping me. More
