Scheduled a 4pm. appointment for 90000 miles service and driver door fixed. James called about 11am to see if car can be brought in earlier so the job can be completed same day. Dropped off the car about no driver door fixed. James called about 11am to see if car can be brought in earlier so the job can be completed same day. Dropped off the car about noon, got a shuttle ride back home, service was completed before 4pm. As always, James Davindra was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. I cannot praise him enough. I use to service at Bayridge Lexus, but after the first service at New country, I was sold. Nice work, I will be buying my next Lexus at New Country. More

Bought a car in cash here with a trade.. The worst experience in my lifetime. I paid to have some things done to this car being it was pretty much an online sale. Asking the sales reps are the mechani experience in my lifetime. I paid to have some things done to this car being it was pretty much an online sale. Asking the sales reps are the mechanic and all good. So moving along I get the car and drive bumper to bumper out of the city and ready to open it up on the highway back to north country.. As I'm driving I notice the shaking and vibration on the car. I call and leave a message etc the salsrep. I never get a phone call back. I did however get a hold of the finance Mgr and he connected me to the salesmanager. Nothing was taken care of.. I brought a car with 3 bent wheels. I was told by another dealer same company that they knew they were bent. Great to know they would let someone drive off the lot.. The car I traded in was in better shape mechanically.. Buyer be ware of this place... they don't care about you or your families safety.. Reviews reply from dealership.. This is not acceptable. This manager has been the problem and if I would even go back to the dealership it would be one close by my home in upstate.. get a clue.. Your not a problem solver but a problem. More
I am a not-so-recent retiree who does not like being conned by dealership service departments – especially when it is a luxury-car dealer. I recently brought my 2018 Lexus RX350L into New Country Lexus conned by dealership service departments – especially when it is a luxury-car dealer. I recently brought my 2018 Lexus RX350L into New Country Lexus of Great Neck for a 40,000-mile service checkup since they are closer to my home than the dealership where I purchased the car. Boy, was that a mistake. I signed up on-line for the basic maintenance without extras and when I arrived at the dealership, I repeated that to the service agent. During six previous 5000-mile checkups on this car at other Lexus dealerships, I had been charged nothing for two visits and between $246 and $343 for the other four. When the New Country service agent handed me a work order, I saw that it contained a prominently displayed “preliminary estimate” of $307.90 – so I let my guard down. Two hours later when I returned to pick up the car, I was presented with a bill for $864.03. When I confronted the agent about the excess charges, he pointed to fine print in the work order that referenced a “revised estimate” of “864” – without any dollar or cent signs in the box. There were no apologies for his failure to disclose this in advance or any suggestion that there had been a misunderstanding – this was purely a “Gotcha!” moment. Although I protested, I could see it would get me nowhere. It was a case of “your money or your car keys.” I decided to pay up and try to claw the money back afterwards. My subsequent efforts to rectify the unauthorized overcharge with the head of the service department and Lexus corporate have proven fruitless. I can’t understand why they would condone the “rip-off” of a loyal long-time customer (I have purchased four Lexus vehicles in the last 11 years) and expect to remain in business. Fortunately, MasterCard and the NY DMV have procedures for challenging overcharges by dealership service departments that don’t require a lawyer. In the meantime, they should rename the dealership: “No Country for Old Men Lexus. More
