Hello, I just wanted to sincerely apologize for your frustration. I can assure you we would never just make up excuses. We want your business, but when it comes to customer safety, we MUST do things right, and this goes double with an airbag recall. 95% of your frustration may have been avoided by simply booking an appointment, and we take the blame for apparently not advising you as such. Although the repair you are talking about IS a fairly quick repair, an appointment is still strongly recommended, especially for recall work, since recall repairs require certain equipment and parts, as well as specific documentation for Honda from the office here that handles recalls... Not quite as simple as an oil change. With an appointment, we'd put you in for this service at a time that the right parts, people and paperwork could be accessed. In your case, yes, one of the times you dropped by we were too busy to guarantee a repair in the timeframe you needed, and the other time the office than handles recalls was closed. When you say "no one was in line," I agree it can sometimes look that way, but rest assured there were appointments on the books. Again, we are truly sorry that you didn't get the drop-in type of service you were looking for.
