Recall on my Fit I had a recall on my 2008 Honda Fit. I had call Diamond Honda and they had said the part was not available til September. I called back mid September I had a recall on my 2008 Honda Fit. I had call Diamond Honda and they had said the part was not available til September. I called back mid September and scheduled an appointment, as they now had the part. The drop off was very easy, Louis took my car and was very friendly and helpful! I work close so I just walked to work. They called me when it was done and I picked it up after work. It's always alittle inconvenient to have work done on your car, but Diamond Honda makes it enjoyable! More

Passenger Airbag fast change! Ok. so on today's review for my father's 2010 Ridgeline (on 9/17/16) I thought that I would check up on the airbag see if it was there. Luck would hav Ok. so on today's review for my father's 2010 Ridgeline (on 9/17/16) I thought that I would check up on the airbag see if it was there. Luck would have it, it was! Yay! our second airbag is there and ready for the switch! This was verify simply, we went in at before noon to drop off our truck and went about on our errands for the day, next thing we know (couple hours later) I was getting a call from Kristina saying our truck was ready for pick up!! This was a super fast service!!! Cannot be thankful enough for Kristina to take care of me and my family in making sure our truck was out before the end of day. Which is great as we had to have anyone else eat in the back. But yay! again, thanks to Kristina we can use our truck the proper way now. =) Matt. Thanks for having Kristina on the team! More

Warranty Service I live 20+ miles from Diamind Honda Glendale and have dealers closer to my home, I will ONLY deal with Diamond Honda due to their wonderful staff, and I live 20+ miles from Diamind Honda Glendale and have dealers closer to my home, I will ONLY deal with Diamond Honda due to their wonderful staff, and the professional way they treat their customers! Kristina Haas by far is one of the best service advisors I have ever delt with in my 30+ years of owning vehicles. She keeps you informed of the status on your vehicle, and makes sure that all steps are taken to assure you that you will not be inconvenienced while your vehicle is being serviced. How fortunate we as customers have someone of her caliber to take care of our vehicles, and us. Thank you Diamond Honda! More
Not coming back I would rate my experience a 2 on the scale from 1-5; 5 being the highest. First, the advisor did not introduce himself. second, he told me that my car would be ready at 1pm- mind you all I wanted was an oil change and the recall notice to be taken care of, he then told me that I need to change the air filters, to which I said ok. When I asked about the cost for the repairs, he told me approximately $190.00. I asked if there were any coupons that I could take advantage of to which he told me that he was giving me $10.00 discount. I often get my car serviced at Downey Honda so I checked their web site for coupons. The coupons that I found on the Downey site applied to the service that was being performed. When I asked him about honoring the coupons from another dealer, he responded that I could not apply more than one coupon to the service and he had already given me the $10.00 discount When I asked about the recall, the tech wrote that the recall did not apply. Why couldn't the advisor tell me this when I was in front of him. At approximately 10;00 am I get a call that the vehicle is ready. I had already made plans to pick up the vehicle at 1pm My final bill was $191.00 after taxes. I do not intend to have my car serviced at your location anymore. More
FAST FRIENDLY SERVICE! On my latest visit (08/13/2016) I came with my 2013 Honda CR-V. It needed transmission oil change and engine oil change (why make two trips). As usual got here at some time before 7am in order to get my day ahead, Kristina Haas is always my preferred service writer and she is the best. Always greats with a smile and always gets the job done quick. On this visit I thought it would take longer so I decided to drop it off and come back later, little did I know that it would be done really fast with almost no wait time (a little past 8am). SO yes this was a fast service for transmission and engine oil change. Very happy with the service. =) More
I Will Never Know Whether I Needed All That Was Done to Car I dropped off my 2007 Fit for service and went to lunch with my girlfriend. The dealership phoned me at lunch and told me I need a litany of things do I dropped off my 2007 Fit for service and went to lunch with my girlfriend. The dealership phoned me at lunch and told me I need a litany of things done to the engine. Guy started to tick them off and then the cost after each item. I said, "Hold on, hold on. What is the total cost?" It came to $1,115. Well, I need a reliable car. I am a woman working 2 part-time jobs and I'm supporting a husband who has been unemployed for more than 8 years. After I hung up, my girlfriend said, "Oh no, you didn't authorize all that work did you?!" And I got defensive and said: "I had to to! I have to have reliable transportation! What am I gonna do?!" And my friend, who used to take her Honda to Colonial/Diamond Honda, gave me the name of her mechanic. When I picked up my car, I told the attendant that $1,115 was nearly two weeks' pay — my most recent paycheck was just south of $1,300. I told him I would no longer be brining my car to the dealership for service. I just can't afford bills equal to a rent payment. More

I had 2 problems, though, with this particular recall service that made me give an average to fair rating. 1. I was supposed to get 2 airbags and one windshield wiper motor recalls. One of the airbags (passenger front) had been deployed before I got the car from my son about 10 years ago. Neither the Honda recall or Diamond people determined this before I scheduled the recall. And I had no idea I was supposed to make this known to them as part of the process. I thought it would be taken care of as part of the recall. And in fact this deployed airbag was the main reason I took the time to go in for the recall anyway. So when I got there they started the service and a hour or 2 later they called me and told me that they can't do the one airbag that had been deployed and the estimate will be about $2700 to do it. 2. The other issue was while they were doing the work they gave me a ride to the Glendale Galleria while I was waiting for the service to be done. When I got the above call from my service rep about the one airbag I was told they would have someone pick me up to take me back to the dealership. Turned out to take about an hour and half and finally I gave up and started walking back and was picked up by the van about half way back to the dealership. My rep did stay in touch with me but it was still was incovenient on to fo the fact that the amin thing I did the reacll for could not be done. So all in all that's why the fair or average rating.
