Have been bringing my car here for service the past 5 years, and it has been good until now. About a week ago, I came in because the driver side seat belt was working properly. You needed a couple of h years, and it has been good until now. About a week ago, I came in because the driver side seat belt was working properly. You needed a couple of hours to analyze the problem, so as usual, you provided me a ride home, and later also sent a driver to bring me back to retrieve my car. The result was you determined the seat belt would have to be completely replaced, but you would need to special order it which would take a few days. Yesterday the part had come inso I brought my vehicle to you again. Your service rep Chris told me the job would take about 3 hours so he suggested I go to the Cashier to arrange the customary ride home, which I did. Your courtesy van driver took me home. Later after Chris left me a voice mail to say the job was done. I called to ask again for a courtesy van . The lady who answered my call informed me that they "no longer provide the pick up service", only the drop off. I asked since when ? She replied since last Saturday (Feb 1) I asked how was I supposed to know that ? She answered "it's on the paper". I frankly became angry . I could not understand why if this were your dealership's sudden policy change, why did none of the 3 people involved in arranging my ride home in the morning , not the service rep, the cashier, nor the driver say one word to inform me I would be on my own to pick up the car . I told her that was unacceptable and demanded to speak to a manager. She transferred me to someone's voice mail. I was in no mood to wait for a call back. I dialed Service again, and got Chris on the line. I complained loudly and he decided to arrange for a pick up after all. When I got to the dealership I went to the customer "lounge" and saw a sign on the door about free customer drop off AND pick up !! I took a picture and showed Chris and another rep and asked why that notice was still posted if the policy had so recently changed ? They just blamed corporate decision makers. BOTTOM LINE IS , AFTER S P O I L I N G YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH THAT KIND OF SERVICE FOR SO MANY YEARS, THEY AT LEAST DESERVE MUCH BETTER ADVANCE NOTICE OF SUCH A MAJOR CHANGE THAN WHAT YOU PROVIDED . Good service was transformed into lousy service overnight !! Terrible, just terrible !! More
