I am always pleased with the service my vehicle receives. They perform a thorough check of whatever the issue may be. Love the shuttle service that is available. They perform a thorough check of whatever the issue may be. Love the shuttle service that is available. More
This review only pertains to the poorly-run Service department at the New Brighton Ford dealership. Non-existent communication has been a constant problem with this place. I had to call to check on department at the New Brighton Ford dealership. Non-existent communication has been a constant problem with this place. I had to call to check on the status of my car at least 4 times; left a voicemail twice. I did not hear back from anyone from the dealership until the third day … after calling multiple times trying to get a hold of someone. The person I worked with – Tim H. – was extremely unprofessional. No apologies or reasoning as to why there was no communication. This isn’t the first time this has happened. The last time I brought my car to this place … the same thing happened. But I decided to let it go. Doesn't look like things have improved. Communication is definitely not one of their strong points. Also, I made an appointment to bring my car in. I was told it would take a day or two. They did not even work on the car till the third day – after I had called repeatedly to check on the status of the repairs. Not sure what the point of the appointment was. The repairs were going to cost me about $2000. Based on the appalling experience with the Service department thus far, I decided to have it fixed elsewhere. I’d rather give my business to a place that will treat their customers better. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my car to this dealership in the future, and I would encourage other people to stay away from this place. More

I had to reach out to determine status of vehicle, and if it was considered warranty work nmby Ford technician. Was told vehicle needed a new oil pan gasket and that when replaced, it needed to sit for 24 hours. I was then called a few hours later that vehicle was completed. When arrived to pick vehicle up, it had been billed wrong and billed me $650.00. The unfortunate staff person then had to sort out the problem after service hours were over for the day. She was kind and courteous while troubleshooting the situation. After a 25 minute delay, a new bill, demonstrating warranty work was created and ready for me to sign to take vehicle home. More
Would not recommend for any bigger service on a vehicle. Brought in my F250 and was quoted $10,000 more than what a smaller town auto shop quoted me for the exact same service. Charged $200 for a diagnostic fee, which they informed me up front, so other than gouging, that was my own choosing. Called back and stated needed new plugs, boots, oil change, and wipers. Including diagnostic fee, cost would be > $1000. Outrageous garage pricing. More

Come on, New Brighton Ford. Good grief. My teen son bought an old Ford truck with a leaky fuel tank we brought it in for a repair quote. They required $99 diagnosis (even though we knew what the problem was) for a quote. We agreed, hoping for a reasonable price. The quote result was unclear, instead it was “somewhere around $1800, could be more or less, depending on what’s involved...” and the $99 could not be applied towards the work nor did it even buy us a firm quote. I completely understand dealer repairs cost more than other garages and I’m completely willing to pay a dealer more. But not 300% more, which is what I discovered after a few phone calls. We got it fixed elsewhere for $600. One last kick in the shorts was the $99 turned into $114.94 at the cashier because New Brighton Ford apparently found a way to tack on another 15% for their unfirm price quote. I used to get oil changes there but now will get nothing from the gougers. More
Quick Lane? I just stopped in at 3pm, as I haven’t used my free oil change since I bought my used summer car there last fall. I approached the guy behind the d I just stopped in at 3pm, as I haven’t used my free oil change since I bought my used summer car there last fall. I approached the guy behind the desk and said I’m here for my free oil change. He doesn’t move a muscle and says you must be dropping it off. Dropping it off? For an oil change? He said they wouldn’t get around to it until about when we close? How is this quick? And u don’t take appointments?!?! Do people come and wait 3-4 hours for an oil change? The guy sitting at the desk didn’t have any desire to explain or help. He said well this is Ford’s way? What? I always buy from the Ford dealership in Plymouth and I’ve never heard of something so goofy. And if you can’t make an appointment, how does one plan their life to get an oil change? Thumbs down!!!
