I've brought my car to this dealership a few times now, and have never had a good experience in their service department. I've have a few very nice interactions with a few of the employees, but overall, my and have never had a good experience in their service department. I've have a few very nice interactions with a few of the employees, but overall, my experience has been pretty bad. There are no multi-point inspections done, there's no review of issues, nobody calls back, and what's the point of scheduling (and rescheduling when they don't have the parts) the service appointment in the am, when they don't then have time for someone to work on it until the afternoon and then it doesn't get done in time? I paid for an oil change, but really not even sure if one happened, as the sticker wasn't updated and no liquid levels checked, tire pressure was low and again, no review/receipt of any multipoint inspection. Calinthia was great and easy to work with. But the service manager (Terry I think?) has always been rude and seems frustrated if you ask any questions, and doesn't seem like he likes his job at all. I was also transferred to him when I called for an update, and I never heard back. More

We bought a Ford Escape from this dealership and there is a recall on the instrument cluster panel for the year of our Escape but apparently our vehicle is not covered because the Escapes made at the plant our Escape was manufactured at are not covered, no one at Ford knows why. The frustrating part of this is when I was talking to the service manager at New Brighton Ford, and I explained to him I was just looking for an explanation as to why our Escape is not covered under the recall, he said to me "We didn't make the vehicle, your issue is with Ford." (WOW! He didn't really say that did he? Oh, yes he did!) I explained that I was looking for some help in getting an answer at to why our vehicle is not covered under the recall. Again I received the response "We didn't make the vehicle." I asked "Are you a Ford dealer?" Response: "We are a franchise." I asked again, "Are you a Ford dealer?" Response: "Well, I guess we are a franchise dealer but we didn't make the vehicle." My advise, take your business to someone other than New Brighton Ford. More
I brought my Ford Escape into the service department on 7-15-21 for a rattling noise coming from the passenger door/glove box area. Tim Hooper, the service advisor is rude and unprofessional!! This is not the first time I have run into this issue with Tim. I felt like my concerns were not important to Tim and that I was wasting his time. No, communication at all. I get a phone the next day saying my vehicle is ready to be picked up. When I asked what was wrong, Tim replies "nothing really. The spare tire in the back was loose, and you have the metal clips on the head rests." I told him that is NOT what is making the rattling noise. I went to pick up my Escape, the paperwork states the noise is gone after they secured the spare tire and road test was performed. When I left the dealership, I immediately heard the noise!! I made an appointment at Superior Ford in Plymouth and was treated with RESPECT and my concerns were taken care of. Superior Ford immediately found that the LH lower body side panel had broken clips and missing bolts. They had to install new plastic clips and nuts on LH under body/side panel. Superior Ford also found a coolant leak that required my short block to be replaced. I do not think New Brighton Ford even looked or inspected my Escape on July 15, 2021!! Please tell me how New Brighton Ford missed this when Superior Ford called me within 1.5 hours of dropping my Escape off to tell me what the issue was. Incompetent employees who do not care about their customers concerns. I will never go back to New Brighton Ford!! More

This review only pertains to the poorly-run Service department at the New Brighton Ford dealership. Non-existent communication has been a constant problem with this place. I had to call to check on the status of my car at least 4 times; left a voicemail twice. I did not hear back from anyone from the dealership until the third day … after calling multiple times trying to get a hold of someone. The person I worked with – Tim H. – was extremely unprofessional. No apologies or reasoning as to why there was no communication. This isn’t the first time this has happened. The last time I brought my car to this place … the same thing happened. But I decided to let it go. Doesn't look like things have improved. Communication is definitely not one of their strong points. Also, I made an appointment to bring my car in. I was told it would take a day or two. They did not even work on the car till the third day – after I had called repeatedly to check on the status of the repairs. Not sure what the point of the appointment was. The repairs were going to cost me about $2000. Based on the appalling experience with the Service department thus far, I decided to have it fixed elsewhere. I’d rather give my business to a place that will treat their customers better. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my car to this dealership in the future, and I would encourage other people to stay away from this place. More
I found the head of the service department rude when trying make an appointment. I needed to have a brake control for trailer installed and 20,000 mile service with oil change tire rotation. He told me to make it though quick lane service which already told me to talk with Service department. I than went back to the quick lane and explained what i needed done and they setup one for the following week. the manager for quick lane was very nice. the next week dropped truck off to find appointment was blocked off but no information was put in for want needed to be done. I also checked online and found the ford part they charged me was hundred's more than the price op ford web site. More
Power train warranty service work - there was a lack of communication from assigned service rep. Was told vehicle needed a new oil pan gasket and that when replaced, it needed to sit for 24 hours. I was then called a few hours later that vehicle was completed. When arrived to pick vehicle up, it had been billed wrong and billed me $650.00. The unfortunate staff person then had to sort out the problem after service hours were over for the day. She was kind and courteous while troubleshooting the situation. After a 25 minute delay, a new bill, demonstrating warranty work was created and ready for me to sign to take vehicle home. More
Would not recommend for any bigger service on a vehicle. Brought in my F250 and was quoted $10,000 more than what a smaller town auto shop quoted me for the exact same service.
