The service staff is always friendly and courteous. I am always able to obtain a courtesy ride to work, and get picked up in a timely fashion when my car is ready. I am always able to get my vehicle in for service the day I call. I recieve prompt feedback once the service has been done on my car. It's VW dealer service, so you have to take pricing with a grain of salt. I think it's expensive - but it's the going rate, and it's fair. I've had mostly positive experience with basic maintenance (oil changes, etc.) and with some minor warranty repair. While I was inconvenienced by having to return a second time to fully address a warranty issue, the return visit had the issue fixed promptly with a satisfactory explanation - one which agreed with the research I had done on the problem myself. All together a positive experience - nobody goes to a dealer's shop because it's fun, but they at least make it tolerable. ;) More

I have bought a number of cars from Nemer in the past. The most notable experience I've had was when my son was driving cross-country in his VW Fox and began having major trouble keeping the car running a The most notable experience I've had was when my son was driving cross-country in his VW Fox and began having major trouble keeping the car running at about mid-point in his trip - driving through the bad lands with no services. I called Nemer and asked them to call the dealer in Fargo N.D., the closest city that my son was driving thru. My son had already stopped at a VW dealer along the way who had the car for a day and failed to properly diagnose and fix the problem. The Nemer Tech rep got on the phone w/ the Fargo dealer, PROPERLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM FROM MY DESCRIPTION, got a new wiring harness just in time for my son's arrival in Fargo, and had him on his way happily and with no further trouble to his destination of Portland OR. Great Job and Kudos. More
The car showed the MIL lamp, so I brought it in for check up. Turns out that mice had chewed up some plastic hoses that lead to a vapor problem below the gas tank. The parts were cheap but unfortunately the labor was expensive, which cost me about $1200. What hurt most was that two months prior I had spent another $1000+ to get the CV+boots fixed. More
The customer service was almost non existant over the phone. I had to go in to the facility in order to find out what I had to do to replace a rim under their offered wheel and tire replacement package. phone. After they told me they replaced the rim I noticed before I left the parking lot the rim actually had not been replaced rather the burr on the rim had been ground down and the rim moved from the front passenger to the rear passenger, making it appear that the rim had been replaced. After bringing this up the issue was finally fixed and a new rim was replaced by the dealer. Next issue, the hood started to chip in various locations so I set up an appointment and had the hood looked at. It was determined it was a defect and the hood was repainted at no cost to me. One year later the hood is once again chipping and an appointment has been made. This is highly agrevating as the first time they had the car over a week to repaint the hood. On a good note a rental was provided for our use. Our salesman was very nice and we had no issues with the purchasing of the car. The only complaint I have while purchasing is the manager came over to seal the deal and was rather pushy, if my lease on my previous car was not up I would have walked out without buying the car. The only way I will purchase again from this dealer is if they had a great lease loyalty program. More
