The "agreed upon price" that you're referencing was a Estimated Price Received through a 3rd Party (Carfax) based upon information you entered. The price was in no way agreed upon by us. All estimated values for pre-owned vehicles are subject to equipment, mileage and condition verification as well as other variables.

Here’s the full story: I spoke with a salesman over the phone who offered me X amount as long as all the details matched up (which they did—the car was literally a 2021 with very low mileage and no damage whatsoever). Before heading to the Saratoga dealership, i stopped at their Glens Falls location for an estimate since it was closer to my home (Saratoga is 1.25 hours away). They gave me a much lower estimate than the Saratoga dealership and informed me that the Saratoga dealership wouldn’t be able to give me a higher offer since they used the same estimate tools. I then called the Saratoga dealership to tell them I wasn’t going to drive there if they were going to give me the same offer as the GF dealership. The sales person on the phone told me that the information the GF dealership gave me was wrong and they could in fact offer me a higher price. So I went. Once I arrive and meet with the salesman, he tells me exactly what the GF dealership told me, in that they use the same tools and couldn’t offer me a higher price. On top of that, he told me even if he could make a higher offer, he wouldn’t buy my car from me since the GF dealership had made an offer first and they couldn’t compete with themselves. This is what I had originally been concerned about, but their sales person told me otherwise over the phone so I trusted them. Had the person who answers the phones been properly trained and informed, I would have never driven an extra 20 minutes each way out of my way to visit this joke of a dealership. When I explained what the person on the phone had told me to the salesman, he shrugged his shoulders and showed me the door. I’m very unhappy with this service and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone-they will just waste your time.
