Our sons vehicle got hit in the first day of school, his first car. Once we got the news that it was a total, we immediately started searching for a replacement and Nelson Nissan kept coming up. We were first car. Once we got the news that it was a total, we immediately started searching for a replacement and Nelson Nissan kept coming up. We were greeted by Adrian who took his time, understood our concerns and budget. And although the dealership was close to closing, Adrian didn’t push us to hurry ar all. We left that night with a new pre-owned vehicle for our son. We couldn’t be more pleased with the customer experience. Thank you Adrian and Nelson Nissan. More
Worked with Keith today. It was a laid back, no hassle experience. I know I don’t like getting in debt but he eased the burden throughout the process. Thanks again! Our 3rd car buying with the help of Grant. That should be enough said. If you want a salesman who is not only personable but honest too, ask for Grant. You won’t be disappointed! By far my worst car buying experience. In the beginning everything looked promising. Then quickly went down hill. They are a “no haggling” dealership. They low balled my trade in value, but was able to talk them into adding $500 to it. They didn’t have the vehicle I wanted but was told it would be in in the beginning of March. I live 45 minutes away and after submitting my application online I was asked to come in the next day and sign paperwork. I drove the 45 minutes to be told the vin is not in the system and we couldn’t do the paperwork. But was told once the vin is in the system we can sign paperwork. Reached out to my salesperson a couple days later asking a couple questions. Was told they would look into it. Did hear from my salesperson, a day later, asking me if I wanted a different color. I did not want a different color but asked if they had the answer to my questions. I was told no but would find out and let me know. The following day came and still hadn’t had the questions I asked answered. So I reach out to the salesperson letting them know that I understand they have other customers but would like to request a new salesperson and they can have a manager contact me. I received a call a few moments later from a manager who answered all my questions and more. He stated that the vin was in the system and I could come in the next day to sign paperwork. The following day I called and spoke with the manager asking what would be a good time to come up and sign paperwork. He advised me that the vehicle needs to be on the lot before I can sign paperwork. Also advised me that rates were going to change at the beginning of the month and would try and find a vehicle, so would call me back. Waited around my house that Saturday waiting on a phone call. Called back around 4:30, no answer, never received a call back. The following Monday still hadn’t heard anything so made a phone call at noon. Was told they got busy Saturday, which is understandable. I let the manager know since we didn’t hear from him Saturday we went to a local dealership and also they offered more for my trade in. His attitude quickly changed and told me to go buy from them He asked why we would go to another dealership if he is looking for a vehicle. I let him know that he did not communicate with me so how do I know what is going on. I asked to speak with his manager and was told he is out of the country. I stated that this has been a long drawn out process, getting told this, but then getting told something different. It was frustrating. He stated they pride themselves on good customer service but I let him know he wasn’t showing me good customer service. We talked back and forth till he hung up. I wouldn’t recommend buying a vehicle from this establishment. They call themselves a “no haggling” dealership but will give you the run around. More
Crazy market we are finding ourselves in right now. Vehicles are being sold off the transport truck before they even hit the lot in some instances. I live in OKC but have learned through the games and antics, to travel to Tulsa to buy our vehicles. . Nelson Nissan really is a different kind of dealership. In prior, less crazy times in the auto industry, I've avoided no haggle places like Nelson only because I've always enjoyed the negotiating part of car buying (yes, I'm a little crazy I guess) and always felt that with negotiation and being involved in the car buying process, you get a better deal. Well in these times we find ourselves in, there is no negotiation hardly, and whatever negotiation there is to be done, it's off an inflated amount to begin with. This is where Nelson Nissan comes in. They had the vehicle we wanted, weren't charging additional markup, didn't put useless dealer adds (wheel locks, undercoating, paint protection, pinstriping, etc.), and had it priced at a very fair price in relative terms to the current market (under MSRP). The same person who shows you the car, is the one that walks you through the entire process of purchase. There is no back room finance office where the real haggling and brow-beating begins typically, just the same person who showed you the car showing all of your finance options, extended warranties, packages, etc. and how they affect the bottom line purchase price. When I declined, there was no pressure or back and forth, that was it. That same person goes over the paperwork, and instructs you where and what you are signing. It literally is the same person throughout the entire process. Literally one person and that's it. Honestly, Armando Yanez could not have been more professional and courteous, and I can honestly say that this was the most positive vehicle purchasing experience I've ever had. Now if the market eventually calms down, inventories increase and prices stabilize, the no haggle price might not be the absolute best way to secure your 100% best deal, but I guarantee you it will be the most trouble free, non-time consuming deal and that is worth a lot alone. Nelson did me well and for that I am extremely grateful and will recommend them to others. -Derek (Edmond, OK) More
