Only one problem My only complaint with this dealer is that I was forced to pay the dealer fee. Since 1970 I had never paid that fee when buying a car for cash. My experience at Reynolds Mazda was one of two good ones I went to 4 different dealerships on the same day, looking at 4 different makes of hatchback. My experience at Reynolds Mazda was one of two good ones I had that day. (The other was at Hudiburg Subaru in OKC.) Martin Wiley was great to work with: knowledgeable, pleasant, low pressure, and didn't try to upsell me. I'm a middle-aged woman shopping for a car by myself, and having grown up and lived most of my life in NYC where I never owned a car (and almost never even rode in one that wasn't a taxi), I admit that I'm not the most experienced buyer. But I did do my research, so I wasn't going in completely clueless. A couple of the dealerships' sales teams were doing that mansplaining thing which, gentleman, women really don't find appealing. I did not get that attitude at all from Martin. In the end I got exactly the car I wanted, for a fair price. I also appreciate that the finance guy respected that I already had financing I was happy with and didn't try to get me to finance through them. So, no complaints! More
