Literally told me the same thing I told them. I went to the Nelson Mazda service center for an electrical diagnosis. Because I was having problems with my power steering pump electric system. I I went to the Nelson Mazda service center for an electrical diagnosis. Because I was having problems with my power steering pump electric system. I had ( 24 hours before ) swapped out the power steering pump. The high pressure line and the return line In the system. However the power steering light still came on and the vehicles steering wheel still locked. My scan tool (Autel) could not find the problem. So I called and made an appointment for an electrical diganosis. After about 70 min. I got a cute little video of my car on a lift with a tech who stated. It looks like the power steering pump has been replaced ( congratulations on finding the new shiny part ). Ad that if I wanted a diagnosis of the problem it was 3x what they quoted me for diagnosis, but I already owed 130 for them to spot the new part. So no I can not recommend this service department as they seem to be almos totally incompetent when it comes to diagnosis and didn't listen at all when I told them what had already been done. Maybe it was the fault of the well dresses male secretary for thinking someone may know what they are talking about and relaying it to a tech. Maybe it's because the tech I got was a brand new wrench but somewhere along the line they completely missed a diagnosis And any recommendation I could have given them. Lonnie, either a former wrench or someone who's been around a while may have been the one iota of redemption at this place as I think he realizes what a diagnosis is and not quoting the customers line. Back to her / or him. More

Constantly something wrong. Everytime time I come it’s something wrong one way or another. First the car I wanted to originally test drive was not there despite the employee sayi Everytime time I come it’s something wrong one way or another. First the car I wanted to originally test drive was not there despite the employee saying it was. I didn’t find out until after I drove 2 hours that the was actually was not there. So I settled for a different car that was slightly more expensive. The very next day after buying it my car wouldn’t start and it turned out to had a dead battery. So it’s like they charged it for the test drive so it looks functional. I usually wouldn’t mind since they changed it for free but I had to drive another 2 hours just for that. Next time was something small but still irritating since he said all cars get a free car wash when they are there but I was disappointed when they brought it out and it was still dirty. And now, after an oil change I find that My car is leaking oil. So I take off the cover for it and find out that the plug for it was loose like they didn’t tighten it all the way. So I tightened that up and now I’m going to have to buy even more oil to make sure it’s full. Overall my experience has been very underwhelming and I will likely be looking for a new service place closer buy depending on my next visit. More
