First service experience here...Recommended I brought my 2008 Mazda RX-8 (sports car) in for a 4 wheel alignment appointment. On the plus side: 1) I hadn't even stepped out of the car before a s I brought my 2008 Mazda RX-8 (sports car) in for a 4 wheel alignment appointment. On the plus side: 1) I hadn't even stepped out of the car before a service rep was doing the status & check-in process, 2) Customer waiting area was expansive, comfortable, good for working with laptop charging and WIFI, 3) Quiet environment in the waiting area, although it was a bit early, 4) Very friendly service reps, and had a couple positive comments on my car (always a plus!), 5) The courtesy vehicle report link was exceptional and helpful...nice benefit, 6) Car was given a courtesy wash after service was completed...also very nice. Other: 1) I had no status info on the car's progress through the service queue for over 45 min...then it had only been put into the bay...that is too long with an appointment. 2) There was no update during the entire time except for me asking, 3) Overall duration for the alignment was almost 2 hours, and that with no extenuating issues. Recommendation: 1) Regular updates on vehicle status and ETA. Perhaps a countdown timer, and even a service guarantee if no exceptional service issues or unexpected problems encountered, 2) Also, a summary of the service completed, along with findings would have been helpful (I had severely uneven wear on the right rear tire, precipitating the alignment...would have liked to know the findings on that right rear alignment issue). Otherwise, I will likely return for my service needs. Thank you! More

I had bald tires as well and I wasn't aware it needed to be replaced so soon. He made me get back into loaner and found the best deals for new set of tires. He was very accommodating and caring which that's hard to find. Lonnie(service advisor) was also accommodating and explained throughly about my car. I will most definitely continue to come to Nelson Mazda. More
Bad service department I want the service department to determine why I have a po600 code. They said they needed to replace to map air sensor. I told them to do that. They than said they needed to replace the coils and spark plugs. I told them they were all brand new. They just could not figure out how to fix the van. It was a 2005 mazda Mpv. They should be the experts but all they wants to do is start replacing parts. They are truly very unprofessional. So I paid $440 for nothing and had to tow the van back home. More

The only con is that I live in Nashville, so the drive there and back was the only inconvenience. More
