Over all great. I liked the phone texts connection. The temp trailer was weird, but understand with the construction. I am still waiting for a part to come in and it’s been over a week with no word. It was weird to pay for a $130 diagnostic for my windshield wiper fluid not coming out and I ended up needing a $110 new wiper pump. and like I said I am still waiting for the part to come in. Thanks for asking with the survey. :-) More

I made the appt online and had the service performed by mechanic Chris - who is GREAT. After getting home, I noticed that the $10 discount had not been applied to the service bill. It is possible that the discount was “built into” the price. If it was, this was not mentioned while sliding the charge card through. A couple days later, I tried calling service about the promotion twice during business hours and no one answered. Also, I sent an email to Devin about this; I got no response. The next day, I called again and yet again to speak with a receptionist who routed my call to service. Again, no answer. Finally, I texted my salesperson, Cassie McCabe, (GREAT conscientious employee) and asked her to have service call me which she promptly did. Someone called within minutes. I asked about the discount and was told, “I’ll have to check with my service manager to see if that’s possible and call you back.” It’s been almost a week and I’ve heard nothing. I find it odd that a Nelson service rep would have to check on a $10 discount if the email offer came from Nelson Mazda. However, I don’t know the protocol. If the discount was built into the price of the service, it might have been nice to get an email or callback saying, “This was already applied to your bill.” or “Hey we missed that. Here’s the promotional discount off your $227 service bill. This was the fourth service performed at Nelson. Overall, a good dealership. All information in this message is factually sound. More

My car was having problems and Nelson Mazda fixed it for me. I took it to Nelson Mazda, they looked at it, and they then showed me exactly what I would be paying for with the cost and replacements of parts. I really was happy they showed me what was wrong with my car! I waited for a little while for my car to get fixed, but I realized at about four PM I had some medicine to take, however, the keys to my medicine box were on my car keys, and I didn't have access to them as they needed the whole key when checking out my car. I asked if I could get my car keys back just to open my medicine box, where they let me take the keys for a moment so I could open my medicine box, and I would like to thank someone here. Ronald Mayfield, I hope you are reading this, you helped me a lot that day for getting my car keys so I could open my medicine box! Ron is a awesome guy, he was the one who got me to purchase a Mazda 3, and he is really an awesome guy! After Ron got my keys back, I waited only thirty more minutes for my car to be fixed, and she was better than ever! I had to get my brakes replaced, a new battery (specifically an I-ELOOP battery), and I think my car is running better than ever. Thank you Nelson Mazda for making my day a wonderful day! More
Crossed signals I came in for a Thursday appointment after being told that an amplifier that I ordered would be in the previous Tuesday. No one knew anything about it I came in for a Thursday appointment after being told that an amplifier that I ordered would be in the previous Tuesday. No one knew anything about it, but I was told they would order it and give me a break on the $1,000 price. The amplifier was supposed to be delivered in two days. When I didn't hear anything on Saturday, I called the following Monday. The price had magically increased to $1,500 and the amplifier was on backorder, not to be in for a couple of weeks. I am still patiently waiting. More
Satisfactory These guys do an alright job - though I have a tan interior and the door handle and center console was covered in black hand marks after last service. These guys do an alright job - though I have a tan interior and the door handle and center console was covered in black hand marks after last service. As in many dealerships, they will frequently try to get you to fix certain parts that haven’t gone bad yet - a sort of super preventative maintenance. When I have declined multiple of these, I have never had them mention the same problem still being an issue on the following service. I can only conclude that the part never actually needed fixed when they said it did - example: they said I needed new brake pads after my second service(10k miles). I declined and they have just now said I needed only the back brake pads replaced (35k miles), they said the front are still good. If you are ok with reading through some of the unnecessary repairs they recommend to you, this place is fine. More
disappointed in availability I have always liked Nelson mazda until recently. I never had a problem getting my car in to have a simple oil change- never. Today I called to see abo I have always liked Nelson mazda until recently. I never had a problem getting my car in to have a simple oil change- never. Today I called to see about getting it in for new Friday (7 days from today) and they can’t change my oil. What? I chose to drive from Clarksville to Cool Springs for service because I liked the availability and service was always speedy and dependable. Sad that I’ll have to go elsewhere. More
