Car got fixed - can't say much else Transmission problems seem to be solved and dealer determined the issue was under warranty so I appreciate both of those things greatly. However, there was zero verbal communication from the service department after the initial diagnosis for the 5 weeks the dealer had our car, even after repeated calls and voice mail messages left by me. The 5-week delay was due to COVID and completely out of their hands. My phone history indicates I tried reaching my service advisor 7 times in the month of May with questions and never reached him (usually never reached a human). Time of day didn't matter. Leaving voice mails didn't matter. Ended up needing a loaner, couldn't reach them. I ended up wanting additional work done while it was there, couldn't reach them. Thankfully they have a text message service for which they would eventually respond. That is literally the only way they would communicate with me, after giving me the initial diagnosis. The car wasn't washed and looked filthy when we picked it up despite touting a complimentary car wash as included in the service and despite me confirming with service dept (via text again) that it was ready for pickup anytime that day (it was fixed but it wasn't ready). Just awful all the way around except for the fact that they did seem to actually fix the problem which was why I was there. That said, I don't really know what they ended up doing during the fix because without any warning, the service department completely closed early the day I picked it up so someone from sales handed me my keys. I couldn't even talk to the service department the day I picked the car up. Pretty disappointed customer experience. Extenuating circumstances I am aware of are that their service department was being remodeled and, obviously, COVID19 definintely had an affect on the how long it took to get parts from Mazda warehouse in Calif. More

I went here four an oil change. It was free with a healthcare discount. In these stressful times, it made me feel very appreciated. Nice new waiting room, prompt service and the repair is always top-notch. Plus, they send you a video of the things they are checking before you okay the repair. Trustworthy and easy experience. I always leave Nelson Mazda feeling great. I never feel like I am being over-sold. Even though my warranty expired I still go back to this dealership I always leave Nelson Mazda feeling great. I never feel like I am being over-sold. They send videos of what they need to do on my car while I am waiting and make it really easy to approve or not approve service. The dealership is very clean and nice. Once of the best I've been to.
