The actual servicing of my automobile was performed well. However, the person who was working at the front desk when I dropped off my vehicle made the entire experience very unpleasant. I had called the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs a few days before appointment to confirm the time of my appointment as I had scheduled the appointment nine months earlier. When I had called during the week, I was informed that my appointment for servicing was scheduled for 1:45 PM on Saturday, September 11th. So I showed up at the Service area with my vehicle at around 1:35 PM at the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs on September 11th and checked in with Christian. Christian claimed that I did not have an appointment, but that he would try to squeeze me in and that it would likely take several hours for my car to be serviced. I informed Christian that I had an appointment for 1:45 PM and that I had called a few days earlier to confirm the time of the appointment. However, Christian again said that I did not have an appointment and that I must have called the Nelson Mazda in Murfreesboro. I responded that I definitely did not call the Nelson Mazda in Murfreesboro and that I was certain that I had called the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs. I also informed Christian that I had scheduled the appointment the last time I had serviced my vehicle at the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs. Although I was irritated at this point, I told Christian and I wanted to service my vehicle since I was already there. After dropping off my vehicle, I called the main phone number for the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs and spoke with a female employee - I recognized her voice from earlier in the week when I had called to confirm my appointment. I informed the employee that Christian in the Service Department had claimed that I did not have an appointment and accused me of making an appointment at the Nelson Mazda in Murfreesboro. The female employee looked at the servicing schedule and informed me that she could see that I did have an appointment scheduled for 1:45 PM on that day at the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs. The female employee was very helpful and went to the service department to inform the employees that I was on the schedule for servicing. The female employee with whom I spoke who had answered my phone call to the main phone number for the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs was very helpful. However, Christian was not helpful at all and was quite rude. Christian apparently does not know how to read the appointment schedule for the dealership and is very dismissive of customer concerns. Christian also lacks the communication skills and personality to work at the front desk of the Customer Service and if I were the manager at the Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs, I would have him working in a back room where he does not need to interact with customers.
