I recently decided to purchase a secondary vehicle from Nelson Mazda and saw on their website that they had a 2000 4Runner Limited for sale. The car looked very sharp in the pictures and when I showed up Nelson Mazda and saw on their website that they had a 2000 4Runner Limited for sale. The car looked very sharp in the pictures and when I showed up the car looked fantastic. It was well taken care of and cleaned up very well. I looked at the car and waited about 5 minutes before anyone came to help. They brought the car up, I looked at it and then drove it around for about 10 minutes. I came back and noticed the antenna was making a horrible noise and they said that they would fix it before I bought it. We agreed to a price and I said I would be on my way the next day to pick up the car at 6PM and they said the antenna would be fixed by then. Up until now, I was ok with how I was being treated. As I am about 10 minutes away from the dealer, the salesman calls me and tells me the antenna isn’t fixed since they ordered the wrong part. I told him I was on my way and they could fix it tomorrow. He offered to pick the car up from my work, fix it and then bring it back to be. Sounded great! So I picked up the car with the antenna still broken and headed on my merry way home. The next day they came and picked up the car and returned it within 4 hours of taking it. I got back in an noticed the antenna worked great but the clock was not working anymore. I called the sales man who sold me the car and he said he was busy but would check with the tech and get back to me. I didn’t hear from him for 2.5 hours so I called him at 6PM and he said the tech had gone home but he would call first thing in the morning. Morning came around and went. I called the salesman around 10:30AM and he didn’t answer. At this point, I am pretty peeved that after they got their money, they are not being as customer friendly as they once seemed. I decided to call the manager and asked him if this was acceptable. He said it was an accident and I should drive down so that they can take care of it. Mind you, each time I drive there is about 60 miles round trip for me. Not easy on gas, not easy on time. I told him that going back and forth every time was a hassle for me and he needed to help me out since this was their fault. I asked that he compensate me with gas and/or a meal somewhere and the manager blatantly hesitated claiming that it was an accident and that they will only fix what they broke for free. All the rest was up to me. I asked him to call me back in 2 hours and he said that his technician might not be in by then. Mind you, it is about 11 at this point. I pointed out to the manager that if he has no tech in the building at 1PM then he has another problem with his business. Alas, the problem was finally resolved close to a month after I bought the car. This is the worst car buying experience I have ever had and will never return to this place. Bottom line, these people are great up until they get the money from you. At that point, they are done with the sale, have a horrible customer service department and on top of that a rude manager who basically hung up on me. While I should have gotten the name of this manager, I know that I will never again come near this dealership to buy a car. More

Everyone at the dealership was friendly and made us feel comfortable and trusting. The salesman, JJ Parsons, was courteous an explained all the features of the cars that he showed us. I used the Internet to search for the Mazda line of cars, specifically looking for a 2012. I had a quick response from JJ Parsons who continued to answer any questions I had quickly. I went to the dealershi specifically looking for a 2012. I had a quick response from JJ Parsons who continued to answer any questions I had quickly. I went to the dealership and he was responsive to what I wanted to have. The Mazda 3 i Grand Touring Hatchback met all my requirements. He located the color I wanted (about 600 miles away) and arranged to have it brought to Cool Springs. I wanted aftermarket wheels and I was able to have them shipped to Cool Springs where the service department will change them out. Everything was very smooth throughout our dealings. Should have the car with new wheels two days after we closed the deal. I was introduced to all the service personal and the facilities by JJ Parsons, a no-nonsense sales person that responded quickly to what was needed. A painless experience! More

The dealership gave us a great deal and excellent financing options. There have been no second thoughts about whether we bought the right vehicle from the right place. Highly recommend this dealer.
