He was very honest and upfront about everything! When driving 300 miles for a car sight unseen, his honesty and personality made the process easy and took away any uneasiness of working a deal long distance. Everyone at the dealership we worked with was spectacular and customer friendly! We looked the car over, went for a test drive and handled all our paperwork in about 30 minutes. After I had selected a car from their inventory, and planned a trip from Memphis to Nashville ( ` 3hours) to buy the car, Ty from Nelson Mazda called to tell me that the car on their lot was a demo car with 1000+ miles. He was late to realize it but I appreciate his honesty in sharing that information ahead of time. A different salesman could easily have let me find that out AFTER I had visited the lot. Instead of doing that or trying to nudge me towards a similarly spec'd car on his lot, he ordered the car in the exact configuration from another dealer and bore the dealer trade cost. My in-store experience was excellent. Ty was prepared with all the paperwork so I was able to take delivery of the car in under 30 minutes. Most importantly, while going through the buying process, Ty was reassuring and helpful, he gave me advice, not always which would financially benefit the dealership but ultimately, was key for me buy the car from Nelson over any local Memphis dealership.
