Quite possibly the worst purchasing experience EVER!!! I just purchased a used 2015 Mazda CX-5 AWD for $$$$$, this was a cash deal and my experience left me wishing I had purchased a car from another deale I just purchased a used 2015 Mazda CX-5 AWD for $$$$$, this was a cash deal and my experience left me wishing I had purchased a car from another dealer. I have to say, selecting the car to purchase was pain-free, I was hoping to purchase the 2017 CX-5 but we were unable to coordinate the times... My experience went downhill after I had selected the car and agreed on the purchase price. 1. After we had agreed on the purchase price and I was ready to sign the check, I was informed that I would have to go to the DMV to complete the registration.... They charge a $100+, in addition, to deal with the DMV... So now I'm feeling the nickel-dime experience... OK, I'll pay the extra $. Oh, I still have to get the inspection done... Really? I just bought the car, you've had the car for a while... Do the xxxx inspection before placing it on the lot. 2. So now they start prepping the car, detailing the car and installing the accessories I purchased... Great.. I come back after a couple hours to pick up the car.... So... My salesman hands over the key to me in the showroom, I have no idea where the car is, I go by myself to find my car, realize the gas tank is at 1/4 inform the salesman who runs around for a minute, only to come back and tell me we are really busy and understaffed so maybe you should just drive off. 3. So now I'm questioning life and driving off, about 5 minutes later I realized they have NOT installed all the accessories I've purchased, actually, they are nowhere in the car either. So back to the dealership. 4. So finally they take care of me, install the roof racks, fill up the gas tank and I'm on my way home 50 minutes after I got back to the dealership 3 hours after I had paid up. 5. I get home with two sets of keys, one where the battery is DEAD and the other gives a low battery sing on the dashboard... (They drove the car, detailed the car, add gas, and the salesman had picked the dead key before he went back to the shop to get the second key)... It was $5.00 at Kroger, again taking away from the experience. 6. Now my mind is running, I need to check the oil, filters, brakes etc... The tires are suspiciously low on thread. I purchased a car from a supposedly reputed dealer, I should not have to worry about this stuff on the DAY of PURCHASE. DEAR MAZDA, I love the way your cars drive, I think you have achieved the fun factor. Have recommended your cars to family (who have purchased a 2017 CX-5 on my recommendation), I hope to splurge on a Miata sometime soon because why not... I think you should drop Nelson Mazda as an authorized dealer/reseller as they do not embody the same culture, they have taken the "fun" of buying a car, the excitement from purchasing a new car and have STOMPED all over it. The staff was very accommodating to my schedule and Justin made sure to get me the exact vehicle I wanted shipped in extremely quickly. Never owned a Mazda before this but I have had my 2017 Mazda CX5 for a week and am in love! I would recommend this dealership and Justin to anyone looking for a wonderful car buying experience. More

We had a great new car buying experience at Nelson Mazda. Our sales representative, Ronald Mayfield was helpful, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He also did not use any high pressure tactics and answered all of our many questions. The dealership allowed us to take the car home on a test drive to make sure it would fit into our garage. That was very important as a tight turning radius is required to get a car into our garage. We also received a good value on our trade in. Patrick, the sales manager was very courteous and helpful. We also like Nelson Mazda's service department as we had our old Mazda serviced on a regular basis. More
