I purchased a new vehicle from Zack and had great service. He was fair and honest- I felt I was treated as a customer not a dollar sign like at many other dealers. This experience in purahcasing a New Honda Odyssey was the most enjoyable experience we have had in purchasing a vehicle. The dealer was upfront on price, delivery and service and actually accomplished e the most enjoyable experience we have had in purchasing a vehicle. Made the mistake of recently buying from another dealership not long ago and quickly decided it was a mistake. Missed my family at Jeff Wyler so much that it wasn't the same without them. We just bought a 2007 Mercury Monterey. We thought we received a fair deal on a reliable vehicle. We DIDN'T! As an elderly couple people are often times trying to take advantage of our sense of judgment and lack of knowledge regarding the product we are purchasing. I have to admit the I often times give people more credit for being honest, decent people than they actually are. When we purchased the vehicle we noticed the back tires were very worn, we pointed that out to Mr. Kiger and he agreed they were worn, within specs but probably should be replaced. The next day we noticed that we were unable to view the electronic gauge panel. Being unable to tell fluid levels, gas, tire pressures etc., I decided to return the vehicle 2 days later. We were told the $1,800 extended warranty we purchased would probably cover. It DIDN'T. By time we found out it was too late to return the car. They quoted $940 to replace rear tires fix gauge panel and faulty switch. They agreed to credit us $200 toward that repair. (big deal) now they just called and told us battery needs replacing. It's been two weeks since we purchased, we had it first 2 days thaeyhave had it since and we're going to be paying $1,000 dollars on top of what we paid for the car. How is this legal?? They had to have known the gauge panel was unreadable. They're highly trained and I'm a 70 year old woman that knows nothing about cars and I noticed it. I left msg for Reggie Fitzgerald and he didnt care enough to respond. I spoke with Derry Kiger and he said they were being genorous enough by offering us a $200 credit. I dont feel I should have to pay anything. With a dealer this large it should have been in safe operating condition to begin with. Used car buyer beware of this dealership especially if you are elderly. More
My experience started out great. I was looking for a dependable, pre-owned car. Specific price range and did not want anything new. I decided I wanted to purchase this car and while the sales person was running numbers with his manager, another sales person put someone else in the car and it was sold before a deal was even offered to me, even though I had driven the car prior to this other person and was already ready to purchase. I saw all of this take place. When he came back he stated there was no way they could make it work with my numbers (after he stated earlier that it would. To "make up for it," he tried to put me into a brand new car that was $10,000 OVER my price range and once I told him it was out of range, he stated he would be able to "make it work." I didn't need anyone to make anything work. Needless to say, I told him I was not at all interested in his offer and ended up at a different dealership. More
I bought my Honda from this dealership in 2007. Every scheduled maintenance has been performed there. The service personnel are friendly, cooperative and knowledgeable. This team has been super! Always there and heloful. I know I can depend on their advice as well as their service. Usually after the warranty is gone, I am off to an independent mechanic but this team has know I can depend on their advice as well as their service.
