I purchased a new 2020 Honda CRV on 11-19-20. I was very pleased with the customer service starting with Carli who was very prompt in responding to my request to schedule a test drive. The receptionist at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful when I arrived. My sales person, Luke, was very patient with me, answering all my questions and demonstrating how the vehicle operated as well as all the different features. He even made a follow-up call the day after I made the purchase. Eric did a very thorough job explaining all of the options available for financing and all of the extended warranties available. He was very gracious and helpful when I called a few days later with some additional questions. I was pleased with the overall sales experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, you were all an 11! More
This is my second review. The first review was all good. Since then we realized that we received no paperwork from the sale. My husband contacted our salesman who promised to email it to us. Today we got the paperwork for getting the car licensed with my husband’s name and some random woman’s name. Now, not only do we have to get the paperwork but we have to straighten out the license issue. So while the buying process was easy the aftermath is a hot mess. More

I Will Not Buy a Car From Neil Huffman Honda in Clarksville. We have leased two cars and bought one from them over the past few years. The first two transactions were fine. The third one wasn’t Clarksville. We have leased two cars and bought one from them over the past few years. The first two transactions were fine. The third one wasn’t bad but irritated me some. My current lease is ending so I went to see what options are available. Let me say, my credit isn’t fantastic. It’s not terrible, but could be better. Part of my credit problem is due to what caused the irritation with my third transaction. I knew going in we would not have many options because of credit, so I knew not to be picky. They pulled my credit to give me as estimated payment for a car we had not mentioned or considered. They had done two hard pulls for this. After some back and forth and confusion over the phone, I just went down there. I had stated I’d like to consider some used options instead of leasing new. He found a few and I liked one. I was told it was in our price range and took it for a test drive. Before leaving I told them not to pull my credit until we decide. My husband also liked it, and we started thinking it was the one we wanted. Then, before we could make a decision, they tell us that they actually can’t finance that one to us due to our credit. We have to buy or lease something new. I don’t understand that, but ok. I’m sure there are reasons I wouldn’t think of to explain why. We go inside and sit back down looking at other options. After some discussion, we decide to test drive another car. As I’m waiting for the salesman to bring up the car, I notice several new emails and look. Multiple emails notifying me of hard inquiries on my credit report. So I go take a look. I now have six hard inquiries on my credit. From that day. I had five from the last transaction. So I now have 11 from them. Each can deduct up to five points from my credit score and stay for up to two years. On at least four occasions during our discussions of this transaction, I asked them not to pull anything until we knew what we wanted. They did anyway. When I pointed it out, he apologized but did not offer to do anything else or like it was even a big deal. For someone trying to repair their credit, it is a big deal. Also at that location previously, I have been lied to forcing us to buy out our lease when we did not want to. I feel like I have been taken advantage of for being ignorant and trusting in past transactions. There are great car salespeople. I do not think I have encountered them at Neil Huffman. I did try to text my salesman for an explanation why they did this when I had asked them not to. No response. I emailed the general manager and explained the situation. No response. They may act like they care and want to help you while still helping the business, but if they make a mistake they won’t make it right. Or even admit they did wrong. The service department, on the other hand, is amazing. Honest, polite, fast, and efficient. More

First time car buyer. I had a wonderful experience, even during COVID. Juice (obviously a nick name) was amazing and really convinced me to run some numbers and their financing department had me with a plan during COVID. Yusel was fantastic to work with. On top of being easy to deal with over the phone in the purchase of my vehicle, after they had already had my business as customer and I was on my way to finish signing and deal with over the phone in the purchase of my vehicle, after they had already had my business as customer and I was on my way to finish signing and purchasing my vehicle, my sister and I got into a rather bad car wreck 50 minutes away from the dealership. Rather then letting me spend the time and money on an Uber, Yusel drove out the 50 minutes to BFE Indiana and back. As someone who works in customer service, I greatly appreciate when someone goes above and beyond to assist someone when they already had my business and didn't have to do anything extra to earn it. I am a 16 year old new driver and I saw the listing in AutoTrader for a 2008 Nissan Sentra VIN: 3N1AB61E88L608751. This car was listed for $6000 with an odometer reading at 66189. My mom and dad scheduled a test drive and away we went. After the test drive, I loved the car and was willing to buy it along with my parents. The salesman came back with the figures and Neil Huffman Honda raised the Autotrader sale price $500, to $6500, with no advanced notice. We showed the sales manager the ad listed in Autotrader for $6000. The manager said they changed the price before we came in and that the new price would show up in Autotrader the next day. My parents were berated by the manager for suggesting that Neil Huffman honor the advertised price. This is a blatant example of false advertising and manipulation of the consumer. This was clearly the worst business practice I have ever experienced, and the saddest part is that it permeates the whole store. My parents and I will not be coming back, and advise any sensible person not to waste their time. More
