Huffman Honda was willing to rip us off on a loan. I was looking on the internet for a newer car for my wife. It had to be a 2022 or newer Chevy Malibu Premier with a moon roof. I found a white one In I was looking on the internet for a newer car for my wife. It had to be a 2022 or newer Chevy Malibu Premier with a moon roof. I found a white one In St. Louis, MO, and a dark blue one in Clarksville, IN. On the 8th of July, 2024 my wife and I left our home in southwest Indiana and drove the 93 miles to Huffman Honda, Clarksville to look at the dark blue one. The vehicle had 13,100 miles on it and was dent and blemish-free. After a two-minute test drive, I committed to purchase it. The salesman, Yousel, I think, started off by trying to sell me an extended service contract in excess of $3000.00. I spent in excess of a half hour telling him ‘No’ repeatedly. After it finally dawned on him that I wasn’t buying the service contract, his attitude towards us changed. He got testy. He came up with a 9% interest rate on the vehicle. I asked him if that was the best he could do. He said ‘yes.’ Unbeknownst to him, I had already checked, and the going interest rate in Clarksville and Evansville was 7.2%. My FICO score was 815 out of 850. I owned my own home outright. I had on small loan on my motorcycle. The rate they were going to charge was ridiculous. My wife really wanted the car, so I got their loan through Huntington Bank in Ohio, and we drove the vehicle home. So why did the loan originate in Ohio? The Indiana Members Credit Union in Clarksville advertised a 5.99% interest rate for 2022 and 2023 models. The One Vision Credit Union in Clarksville offered a 5.4% interest rate for 2022-2025 models. It is obvious to me that Huffman Honda was intentionally out to screw me. Three days later, I went to my local credit union and the administrator laughed. I refinanced the Malibu at 7% for the same five-year term. I mailed a check to Huntington Bank. Over the life of the loan, I would save a little over $1000.00 (one thousand dollars). BTW, I bought a Chevy Colorado at Coyle Chevrolet, just up the road from Huffman Honda, at a favorable interest rate and the loan originated at the bank in western Indiana only six miles from my house. I called Huffman Honda to voice my displeasure about the loan. The salesman transferred me to the business agent for his explanation. He started by saying that they were giving me a good deal. I told him he was blowing smoke and ended the conversation. I called Huffman Honda two weeks later and asked when the paperwork was coming so I could get it licensed. They said they mailed the title to Huntington Bank, not to me. I guess that is why the Malibu temporary tag was dated for two months after the sale instead of one month which is the maximum time limit under Indiana law. The title arrived from Huntington Bank in early August. I had to make two trips to my credit union to explain why they didn’t have the title and three trips to the license branch to get my license plate. Free oil changes come with the purchase of the Malibu, which we are very pleased with and is performing flawlessly. We will NOT be returning to Neil Huffman Honda for any reason. More

Would NOT recommend trying to buy a vehicle from this dealer as it seems they have better things to do than sell automobiles. More
