I t My experience with Neil Huffman service started in late August or early September. My daughter's 2006 Acura TSX air conditioning was not working. I took the car in to have that repaired and had them also do an oil change and replace the engine coolant. As part of the service they also did a number of other checks and a tire rotation. The AC was repaired at a cost of approx. 1200.00, they replaced the AC clutch which they said was the cause of the AC failure When I picked up the car the AC was working and the car was driven home and left in the driveway as I needed to change the brakes and was unable to do so immediately due to a recent operation. After about a week and a half I started the brake job and found at least one lug nut on each wheel that was so over-torqued that I bent the factory supplied lug wrench getting the nuts off. I expect some over-torquing when having tire rotation done at a dealer or tire store but certainly not to that extent as this can result in broken studs as well as warped rotors. When I finished the brake job I took the car for a test drive to be sure that everything was functioning properly,, which was when I discovered that the AC was not working again. When I dropped the car back at Huffman I showed the Service Adviser the bent lug wrench and got no response. The AC system was "evacuated and recharged, Added dye and rechecked to confirm no leaks found at this time" another 121.00. Within another week the AC was again not working but as it was heading into cooler weather and my daughter needed to drive back to school I did nothing at that time. Last night 12/10/18 I received a call from my daughter saying that the car had made a strange noise and something fell out under the engine compartment. I asked her to send me a picture of what had fallen off and it turns out to be the new AC clutch. So in summary, after spending over 1600.00 (AC plus other services) I was left with a vehicle that needed all four rotors replaced due to over-torquing of the lug nuts and an AC system that not only still does not work but has the newly installed parts falling off. Liars, poor workmanship Pros: The car we bought was a used car, and once it was finished getting worked on it was in very good shape. Cons: The head used car guy is a liar Pros: The car we bought was a used car, and once it was finished getting worked on it was in very good shape. Cons: The head used car guy is a liar (I think his name is Hugh, but can't quite remember). I went in originally to look at a used car. I was told that it was just taken in and would need to be serviced. I said that was fine, contact me when it was serviced. I asked for an ETA. They said a few days. I said ok. A few days later, the car was still not ready. They said, "we're getting a lot of traction on this one", etc. They were pressuring me to go ahead and buy it, even though it needed work. This was under the promise that they would fix everything. My wife caved and we bought the car with the promise of fixing it. We waited a few days for our new-used car to be fixed but to no avail. They took several days to fix our car that we bought, lying to us in the meantime telling us that it would be ready. They did this at least 3 times during the duration of our meetings. The tech that was working on it was very rude to me once, and I complained to the used car manager, who actually said, "I'm going to have to go back there and straighten them out." The used car manager kept saying it would be ready, fed me lines, and the tech was useless in helping. I caught the used car manager in several lies about the time the car would be ready, saying he had ordered parts that hadn't been ordered yet. The rude tech had told on the used car manager to me: everyone was trying to pass the blame! Once I finally got my car back, one of the plastic hub caps was cracked, and another nearly rolled off while my wife was driving it on the interstate. Her grandpa, who was driving behind her, called her and told her to pull over. he tightened it up and they drove home. Everything with it seemed fine for a few weeks until I realized one day that they had never put back the transmission fluid dip stick! I called and complained, and told them I wanted the fluid flushed and the job redone, and that i wanted the indiana store to do it. They said OK, and the indiana store fixed the issue. We had driven the car for a few months with no issues and we were very pleased with it. We still are, actually. But one issue arose that made me write this review. The techs forgot to tighten down the bolts holding on the front brakes! This could have potentially deadly consequences, because if the caliper housing ever came completely loose and the brake line busted, we would have no brakes to stop our vehicle. What happened was whenever the techs went to put on new brakes, they didn't tighten down the top housing bolt. So i spent 5 days waiting for parts to arrive from a different honda dealer while my car sat undrivable. I fixed the issue myself. I will never, EVER take a car to these guys again or do business with them again. I imagine for new cars it's probably not this way: i suspect that the $50,000 acuras in their lot are taking priority over my lowly $15,000 used car. The problem with this philosophy is that I'm still young and will one day buy more cars. More

Matthew bent over backwards in customer service, picking up the phone no matter what he was doing; plus he was super knowledgeable. He made the phone transaction easy and flawless and gave us a great deal. My fourth Acura and just love it! Very impressed with this dealership experience. More

I feel like buying any car from a dealership is a hassle, so our experience was about average. We have had 2 warranty repairs done since then and neither experience was as expected. The service advisors act like they do not have time to talk to you. Both repairs took longer than expected, and a call was not made when they were finished either time. A loaner car was not offered either time. Another customer who was waiting at the service counter also mentioned to me how bad his experience was. I would not recommend this dealership. More

Making a bad situation great! I recently purchase a 2016 Certified Used RDX from Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmoor. I hadn't planned on purchasing a car for another four months but my 2 I recently purchase a 2016 Certified Used RDX from Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmoor. I hadn't planned on purchasing a car for another four months but my 2006 Acura TL (with 262,000 miles on it) had other plans. I called my sales rep, Michael Stack, and let him know what I was looking for and if he found anything close to let me know. The same day he sent me a photo and stats on the RDX. I went to the dealership that day to drive the car and fell in love with it instantly. Michael ran the numbers and gave me a couple of options to fit within my budget. I decided to sleep on it overnight but went back the next day to purchase the car. Michael made the process very easy and effortless for me which was comforting because I was going through a family emergency at the time. This is my second Acura and I would highly recommend Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmoor to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. I drive my cars to death (literally) and Acura cars are durable and will last forever if you keep up with the maintenance. Thanks for making my car buying experience phenomenal! More

Unresolved Repair I brought my 2015 Acura TLX (60,000 miles) to the service department at the beginning of April 2018. When the work was being performed, I was told that they could not get the ball joint to separate from the steering knuckle. They ended up telling me that this repair would now cost around $2300.00 because of the parts that needed to completely removed and replaced. This was before being told what needed to be replaced, to begin with. I filed an insurance claim, and after a couple of weeks of paperwork and repair, I picked my vehicle up. The noise that was explicitly described to the service department was still present. It sounded exactly like it did when I first brought it there with additional noises in each wheel well when I turned the wheel one way or another. I brought it back, a technician said that the driver side strut needed replaced. I left my vehicle there for a week or so and when I went to pick it up, the wheel well noise was still there. I brought it back again and after a few more days was called in to come pick it back up. The noise sounded exactly like it did when I left it. I brought it back one more time hoping for a miracle. When I came to pick it up I was told that the ball joints just needed some grease. I knew at this point that the vehicle would still have the noise, primarily because the driver's side ball joint was just replaced by them a few weeks prior. I pick it up, and the noise is still there. Everyone at the repair center knows about my vehicle situation including the general manager. I called him two Fridays ago and told him of the disastrous repair attempts; he advised me that he was taking vacation the next week and that I would get a call back from him by the end of the business day. He promised to make the appropriate phone calls to get his best technician to repair the vehicle, and he would have the manager of the service department take over the repair to ensure accuracy. HE DID NOT CALL ME FRIDAY. HE HAS NOT CALLED ME, AND IT HAS BEEN 16 DAYS! More
GREAT SERVICE IF YOU WANT TO GET GREAT SERVICE ON YOUR VEHICLES SEE TYLER AND BRYCE! They will take good care of you. I moved the service for my vehicles to Neil Hu IF YOU WANT TO GET GREAT SERVICE ON YOUR VEHICLES SEE TYLER AND BRYCE! They will take good care of you. I moved the service for my vehicles to Neil Huffman Acura in the past few years but recently had to go back to Louisville Honda World to get coverage on a 100 month battery that Honda World installed in 2016 on an Acura I own. Louisville Honda World refused to honor the warranty on the Honda battery that they had installed in my Acura. They told me to go to Acura. (makes no sense, these are 2 separately owned businesses). If I owned a Toyota, would they have sent me to Toyota?) I explained the situation to Bryce and Tyler at Neil Huffman Acura and while they did not need to take responsibility for the situation Louisville Honda World was trying to push off on them they did take care of the problem for me. NEIL HUFFMAN ACURA IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR REAL SERVICE! THANK YOU FOR GREAT SERVICE GUYS. More
