I needed to be out by a certain time to get my grandchildren from school. When I arrived for appt Priscilla Embry checked me in and told me at my cars age needed differential fluid changed and also brake fluid changed. I was not happy the were up selling me again. Asked if there were any coupons she took awhile online but gave me 10%. My oil change now up to 490. When the time I needed to leave by arrived car was not ready. Had to forgo my FREE wash to get out and even then late. Also when she figured the bill was up to 570. I questioned that and after at least 10 minutes, she decides the parts were double charged! Will not be going back. Turns out when I went over my past service bills a recall in 2011 included the transmission fluid being changed. This is a 2010 Acura MDX which we bought in 2011. It has 33,000 miles on it. More

I have had nothing but terrible service since buying my New Acura TSX in 2011. The first time I went to search for an Acura, the sales guy had nothing to do with me & did not want to give any effort to se New Acura TSX in 2011. The first time I went to search for an Acura, the sales guy had nothing to do with me & did not want to give any effort to sell a vehicle because I am a young female ( but they didnt know I have a very high paying job with excellent credit) . Went back a second time and quickly picked out a color and the TSX that i wanted.... and bought it within 1 hour. At my first oil change appointment, my sales person asked me out on a date ( VERY UNPROFESSIONAL). Then, when paying for my oil change, & other service the guy at the front desk would try and hit on me and make jokes when jokes are not appropriate. Then my information light continues to come on... never fixes this problem & always makes an excuse for why its on.... even though its been on since 3 months after my purchase. DO NOT BUY OR USE SERVICE AT THIS DEALERSHIP..... it sounds dumb---- but I'm taking my ACURA to BOB MONTGOMERY HONDA dealership!!!!!! More
I had a terrific experience purchasing my first Acura TL at Acura at Oxmoor. I have been going to this dealership to purchase and have cars serviced since 2005. Very easy to make appointments and people at the dealership are friendly and helpful. Never need to return because something was not done right (note that the only servicing I have required is regularly scheduled maintenance as I have never had a problem with my Acura). One time I had them check my air conditioning system and it was done at no charge (everything was normal). Sales person was very helpful and informative. His timing on follow up calls was very good. My experience with sales personnel at Acura over the years has been very positive. They are not just "selling cars" but providing a useful experience helping me to make an informed decision. More

I dealt with Tina Bowman yesterday and you could not have ask for a more professional and trusting individual. The waiting room and all its amenities you know you are going to be paying more, but that is what an Acura owner expects. I took her TL in for a leaking Power steering pump. Turns out, this was under recall and was addressed at my daughters last service visit. Seems the hoses deteriorate and fail. They replaced the hoses then. However, they created another problem of an improper O-ring somewhere in the reassembly which failed. Got the 45 point inspection and they recommend a timing belt change and rear brakes. $1,000 for timing belt, and $250 for rear brakes. Give me a break!!! I suggested BreakAway for $100.00 and Tina said "if you want them to squeak." Thinks quick on her feet. But really, Brakes are brakes and a company that only does Brakes is going to build their reputation by doing a quality job. While waiting for the car I wondered into the show room, and talked with nice kid named Bobby. Showed me the 3 different models and with the higher gas mileages, my daughter will probably go for one. I would definitely recommend this dealers ship to define the problem and check for recalls. I probably would look somewhere else for the actual repair. Dad Jim Gardner PCIM More
I wont name names, however I quit using the service department as soon as my service plan expired. They are exceptionally rude in the service department- looking to squeeze every dollar from you possib department as soon as my service plan expired. They are exceptionally rude in the service department- looking to squeeze every dollar from you possible and barely stands by their product once you've made the purchase. It is uncomfortable even being in that service department because of the poor customer service and unprofessionalism. I would never give them a dime without a second opinion(I've caught them in fibs) - even with a confirmed issue they will overcharge you like crazy. My 09 TSX is a great car but the service department has kind of destroyed the Acura experience as a whole. More

I recently decided to trade in my favorite vehicle of all time a 2003 BMW X5 in near new condition. She was fun to drive and solid as a tank! I called my trusted "Car Guy" Matt DiCapua to help us with this very important and quite frankly stressful decision of ours. Matt as always handled every part of our day with great patience, expert knowledge of the Acura TL we were interested in, remained flexible during the negotiations phase, and his follow thru that day as well as the days that followed were something I have never seen before. My belly could have done without the gourmet cookies he sent as a thank you gift for our business but man they were as good as Matt is at what he does! The staff at Acura especially Tina Bowman in the service department also have been very nice. As you can imagine when I brought my new TL in to have a few upgrades done a few days later I was nervous. Tina treated me like family and her sense of humor helped me get over this somewhat stressful event. I also learned after the fact but I didn't even need to replace the gas in the loaner car I drove! After years of service experience at another local large dealership I can say that Acura At Oxmoor is off to a great start with me and my family because of the staff they have! Thank you Matt and Tina! CYA at my next oil change!!! More
