So first offI wanted to say that my mistake was first to trust someone I just met. That will not happen again. Also I would like to say that the salesmen were excellent and answered my questions and were no trust someone I just met. That will not happen again. Also I would like to say that the salesmen were excellent and answered my questions and were not rude or pushy at all. The gentlemen doing the paperwork on the other hand was not what he seemed. First they advertise to veterans and when I mentioned I was a veteran I received a $300 credit on a $25k car I was a bit disappointed. Next when I spoke with the gentlemen I asked is there any wiggle room on the used car price and wether any upgrades, warranty items can be removed to lower the price. He said assuredly NO. I rejected the warranty and we went to do paperwork. Now this used car is in my name and my wife’s and we filled out the paperwork separately due to our children, So I filled out the information signed dated etc, and went out to get my wife to do the same. After 10 minutes or so my wife came back and told me that everything is done but that the gentlemen doing the paperwork told her to GIVE THE DEALERSHIP 5 STARS, not ask. Now this may seem small to you but to me I value hard work and earning the respect and good rating of a customer. I don’t demand it or tell a customer to automatically do it. That struck me odd so I contacted the salesman whom I spoke with previous to inform him of what had transpired with the finance person. He texted me back saying the the gentlemen said it wasn’t so and called me but I did not answer. Honestly I wanted to make them aware of the practice and when I was told he denied the incident I didn’t need to go any further. Now once again this may seem like a small reason for this review but finally the reason I wrote this review was ultimately my own mistake and vulnerability to listen to a stranger instead of taking the extra 15 minutes and READING THE FINE PRINT. I read over the contract again and noticed a $700 add on charge that was not related to the trim and said did not need to be added to the price of the vehicle. That sealed it for me 1The Big advertisement to VETERANS with the minuscule $300 credit 2The dishonest appeal to buffer a review (which I would have rated well initially) 3The audacity to lie about it when questioned 4The deceitfulness of telling me there was nothing more that could be taken off with the contract saying differently. ****I must take the blame for the last, but they will not get another red cent from me anymore. The cars are nice the salesmen are good but be weary of the gentleman with the paperwork. And if you chose to buy there, read every word of the contract thoroughly as you always should because yet again you cannot trust just anybody. More
