Hasan Savas promised when the deposit was made that the rate would be honored or he would let me know if it changed. He never did. He contacted me on January 7th telling me that they were waiting to get another car from their allocation and could I wait another 2 weeks. The new car had less features than the one previously agreed upon. Had I not brought it to his attention, he would have given me this car and happily forgotten. Since I had to bring it up, my faith in his professionalism was wavering. After going back and forth about me being the lack of features and now being inconvenienced with an additional two week wait, I inquired via email to two sales managers about the APR since Toyota’s website had increased the rate of the APR for 72 months to 5.99% costing me an additional $900+ over the life of the loan. 48 hours went by with no response. Hasan called me on January 23rd (48 hours after the email with no response) and said that I could come pick up the vehicle they ended up getting from a dealer (with 188 miles on it), which was in the original time frame. Since I had no response from either manager, I didn’t want to make the drive until I was assured that I would be made whole. Mr. Savas claimed to have spoken to his manager TWICE that day between 9:45and 10:15 am (the 23rd) and I would be taken care of. My wife and I drove 40 minutes AFTER he assured me his manager had cleared everything that day. The manager, Nick Brotsch, claimed to have only arrived at 11am said he was just now being filled in despite being emailed two days prior AND Hassan telling me he had THAT DAY cleared it with his manager. They (or just Hassan) wanted me to make the drive thinking that I would just eat the cost. Mr Brotsch said as much when he informed me I could make up the cost by "paying my loan off faster” instead of we are going to honor what my sales person promised you somehow. He also postured that he didn’t care about my business or what had been promised since it’s not their fault Toyota’s rates increased. Kind of like this response from the dealership...
