On May 4th, 2021 we picked up our 2007 Express van 3500 from Nash Chevrolet in Lawrenceville, GA - a dealer that assured us they knew what they were doing with our Duramax. They had replaced the transmi from Nash Chevrolet in Lawrenceville, GA - a dealer that assured us they knew what they were doing with our Duramax. They had replaced the transmission and the oil pan. After leaving the dealership, approximately an hour later the engine lost complete power in the van, and was making an extremely loud knocking sound. When the driver pulled over and checked the oil, there wasn't enough oil in the pan to even register on the dipstick. We then had another one of our trucks drive to where the van was to pick it up, and take it to a Chevrolet dealer that has experience in Duramax diesels. They confirmed that the engine failure was due to "oil starvation." We called Nash Chevrolet in Lawrenceville, GA to inform them, and received incredibly unprofessional denials, despite the damage clearly being caused by negligence of their expert technician with the work they had just been paid to perform. They have subsequently refused to provide their insurance information to file a claim, and have refused to pay for damages to this date. More
