Be careful, don't go for services to your car Hyundai. All ratings and their services don't match. There is no communication between the services advisor and the mechanic who performs services. They will damage the vehicle and ask you to hold the vehicle to do suspicious activities. They broke my windshield, and the mechanic forgot to put back the engine cover. This dealership made me drive the car with the possibility of getting fire in the engine from west palm beach to Fort Lauderdale. Now they are lenient in refunding the services fee they charged on my credit card. More
TLDR - Don't trust Napleton Hyundai Sales. They'll straight up lie if it gets them the sale. Contact other dealerships or Tresl if your lease is expiring, this store is going to gouge you. Full Story: My wife's lease was expiring and I figured I would call Napleton's as they were the ones she originally got the lease through. I knew we had a residual value of 11.9k, even with taxes and an extravagent dealer markup fee we should have been around 15k absolutely tops. I called the sales division and asked someone to give me the final buyout total for the vehicle through them. I was stunned when Adam Forman, VP of Sales calls me to give me my buyout quote. First thing he did was lie to me about how the residual value actually only was really for trade-in purposes. I knew I was in for a ride then. I chuckled to myself as he is telling me how with all the shipping delays and no used inventory available, it'd actually cost us 16k to buyout this car, AND THEN add taxes/fees. For those of you who don't know- this is a "them" problem, the value of the lease buyout is (almost always) explicitly stated in your lease contract WHEN SIGNED, not to be adjusted on the fly 3 years like this later. We owed the residual + "official fees such as taxes/tags/registration" . I asked for an itemized buyout quote to be sent and the final purchase price was over 20k... and sent from his PERSONAL gmail account! For the record, he would have been entirely above board to list everything out and then tack on a 5k dealership fee. At least then it would have been to the terms of the contract. If I wasn't quite so angry I'd have found it hilarious. I asked what kind of rates they could offer just to see where it went, and he refused to tell me anything other than I would get the very best options available, trying to tell me it's all about the "LTV of the vehicle", obviously trying to distract me from the rates they're able to offer and make me feel like I have no option but to go through them (again folks, you can find auto lease buyout loans anywhere). The itemized quote gave no rate, but when I calculated it out he is offering me 7%. Again he was trying to rip me off, this APR was a good 3.5% higher than anything else I've already been qualified for on a purchase already inflated by over five thousand dollars. We ended up going elsewhere and I highly, highly recommend you do too. More
