My wife and I came in this past weekend looking to buy a newer used car. I found the dealership through USAA's online car buying service and was attracted by the very low sticker prices for essentially brand new cars. I had a VIP appointment scheduled to come in first thing 9am. I was greeted by Roman, a very friendly gentlemen, who had a brief conversation with us about what we were looking for. After this brief conversation he introduced us to Ron Altidor, our salesman. Ron too had a very friendly and easygoing disposition. He never once gave the vibe that he was there to push a sale or direct us to the vehicles that would give him more commission. He was strictly there to show us what we were interested in. He showed us the 2016 Tucson that we had came in to see and also a 2015 Azera. My wife and I really fell for the Azera so we sat down with Ron to figure out pricing. *FOR ON THE FENCE READERS MAKE SURE TO READ* So we sat down to figure out pricing and this is where I was somewhat blindsided. The car buying service I was using had already given me what was supposed to be a total price before taxes, tag, and title. However Ron soon brought up an $1,895 fee for the vehicle being certified pre-owned. After some discussion I ultimately agreed to pay the fee because they were willing to give me $10,000 for our 6 year old Genesis Coupe with 60k miles and a dent on the fender. Since we still had a lien on the vehicle, I knew that selling it privately was going to be a pain so I was very satisfied with the 10k offer. Plus I knew trading it in would save me $700 in sales tax and $300 to fix the dent. So yes, the people warning about how this dealership has $3,000 in "hidden" fees are not entirely wrong. However, the vehicles are priced so much lower than anywhere else, that I found myself still getting a great deal after all of the fees. I was more than satisfied with the total price for a certified pre-owned vehicle with only 5,500 miles on it. Moving on to the financing department. I believe we were working with Dustin. He was very pleasant and even though we came in with our own financing he was not pushy at all. He knew we had already spent many hours at the dealership and so he tried to get us out of there as soon as he could. He gave a very quick pitch on what he could do for us if we financed through him, but he didn't pressure us which I greatly appreciated. We signed the final documents and were ready to head home. Within hours of getting home we discovered a cosmetic issue with the vehicle. One that clearly wasn't there during our test drive. I was worried that since we didn't notice it before driving off the lot that they would give us a hard time. Nope! Brought it back to the dealership the next day, explained to Eddie the situation, and he was immediately proactive and said they would take care of it. He introduced us to Brian May with the service department (who also is an excellent asset to the Napleton team). My experience with Eddie and Bryan really left me with a great impression of this dealership. They do care about their customers and they wanted to make sure I was happy with the vehicle I purchased through them. Which I certainly am. If I'm ever in the market for another Hyundai I will be checking out Napleton again. More

Classic Bait and Switch Operation I experienced a classic bait and switch operation. Autotrader showed a price of $1,000 cheaper than the price of the same vehicle on their website. T I experienced a classic bait and switch operation. Autotrader showed a price of $1,000 cheaper than the price of the same vehicle on their website. They said they would honor the Autotrader price and confirmed that the 3 cars I was interested in were on site and would be held for me for a few hours. I arrived early at the dealership and found that 2 of the three cars were sold. OK, understandable, it's business. I decided to buy the 3rd vehicle. Not only did they not honor the Autotrader price, there was a "certification" fee of $1800, and another fee of $200, resulting in a $3,000 increase in the price. This was in addition to their dealer fee of $900. You might want to factor these fees into the cost of the vehicle before you make the trip. I traveled 2.5 hours because I thought the prices were amazing. With the fees their price is actually about $2,000 higher than competitive pricing. Went home empty handed :( More
Put my life at risk I left poor feedback after a service appointment last month and received an email from Mike Clancy that he would call me. I never received a call. That service included a tire rotation. 3 weeks later, I hear a knocking sound from my tire. I can't see anything in the tire and it's not losing air pressure. The following weekend, I take it to Tire Kingdom to see if they see anything. They notice that 3 lug nuts are missing. What I was hearing was the wheel literally knocking around on 2 lug nuts. Hyundai service had not tightened the nuts. I had been driving on 95 and that wheel could have flown off. I immediately went to Hyundai for the nuts. What should have taken a few minutes and I was there for 45 minutes. I was told they would have the service manager call me. He didn't. I emailed him and received no response. Pure endangerment. No refund, no apology, nothing. These people should be out of business! More

Consequently, we bought the car elsewhere, but felt quite badly doing so. Net, net...... Nick gets five stars, but the dealership only three. As an aside, I've had my cars serviced at Napleton West Palm for nearly four years, and would comfortably give a five star rating to the service department, as well. Fred Uzarski is also a fantastic asset for the dealership. More
