The worst experince ever. The Manufacture requires it. This I sent to this to the State of Florida Agriculture Commissioner Office of Consumer Affairs. I brought My Car to Napleton Hyundai 2301 Okeecho This I sent to this to the State of Florida Agriculture Commissioner Office of Consumer Affairs. I brought My Car to Napleton Hyundai 2301 Okeechobee Blvd West Palm Beach, FL 33409 for recall items on December 6 2019 at 7:40 AM. That work was completed. The Service Department brought a list of other items with an estimate for other items they found that needed repair from their expert Mechanic's inspection of the vehicle. The Service Writer Stephen asked me to think about these items while I was waiting for my car to be completed. I did, but decided to have the work by the Mechanic that does all my work for over Twenty Years. The service writer came back and told me the other work was complete. He asked if I wanted the other work done? I told him I would consider it. As I waited, he was going to get the car and came back with it in approximately 30 minutes. I then left to see my regular mechanic with the list Napleton gave me. I knew the tires would need replacing from before. I had Harvey's Trail, the mechanic, repair the items that needed done and that they look at the items. We agreed on the items that needed done . During their inspection of the vehicle on 12/10/2019 the day I could leave it with Harvey's to get a complete estimate for repairs, their Mechanic had seen four punctures on the CV axle gasket/boots. these were strategically at four points on all boots. I have kept both CV Axles so that the parts can be inspected. I took this to the dealer so they could inspect it. Mike Clancy the Service Manager Looked at the axels and told me his people wouldn't do this. He stated that rocks come off the road and cause this. He sent me on my way unresolved and they could do nothing. All the people I have spoken to, find this unlikely if not impossible. These people are mechanics. I notified Hyundai 1800-633-5151 case numbers 16538089 & 16537208 They state that because I had a third party repair shop replace the damaged item they could not escalate the case. Logic tells me that a damaged part needs to be replaced. Had I left it on, it would have slung axle grease until dry leaving me on the highway broken down. At that time a hazard. If you suspect that they are doing something wrong, you don't give them a second opportunity. I am also curious that the expert mechanic at Napleton Hyundai didn't catch this during his inspection? Please let me know. I have the parts available for inspection. More
Scummy Sales Tactics I went in to buy a used Elantra GT. I told them that I would not be paying for the $1395 Napleton Experience Fee, which let's you drink the free coff I went in to buy a used Elantra GT. I told them that I would not be paying for the $1395 Napleton Experience Fee, which let's you drink the free coffee in the waiting area. I told them that I would not pay more than a $399 dealer fee, they wanted $899. I told them that I would not be paying for a reconditioning fee, they wanted another $899. I scratched those line items off and wrote in $0 and $399 for the dealer fee. They agreed to that deal. After I got home I went to put the paperwork in my safe deposit box and I see that they did put all of the above changes in the contract. I am legally totally screwed on this deal! Stay far away from this place! More

Dishonest from start to finish If I could rate this dealership zero stars, I absolutely would. The experience I had at Napleton Hyundai, has to be the worst dealership experience I If I could rate this dealership zero stars, I absolutely would. The experience I had at Napleton Hyundai, has to be the worst dealership experience I have ever had. I had originally inquired about a used Dodge Charger, they had on their lot. The next day, I received a call from one of their internet specialists. She confirmed that the vehicle was available to test drive and set up my “VIP” appointment. On my way to the appointment, I received a call from another member of their internet sales department, the associate confirmed my appointment, and confirmed the availability of said vehicle, and that they were going to have the vehicle ready for when I arrived. When I arrived for my appointment, I was brought back to one of the Internet Managers, to continue with the appointment. From there she introduced me to the salesman I would be working with. The car had not been pulled up for my appointment. With the key in his hand, he informed me that he has been unsuccessful locating the vehicle, and offers to take me with him around the lot, to try and find the car. Keep in mind, this dealership lot is not very big. After roughly ten minutes of him and I searching the lot for this car, he can’t locate the car and informs me that we will go back up front to get in touch with his manager and his porter, to attempt to find the vehicle. I sit down, and roughly ten minutes go by, and he comes back up to me and says they’re still looking. Five more minutes pass and my salesman comes back with his manager. The manager shakes my hand, and says we cannot find the vehicle. Then offered to show me a car that was $17,000 more expensive than the car I originally came to see. I came in to see a Dodge Charger, he offered to show me a BMW M5. If you know even the smallest amount about cars, you know that is comparing apples to oranges. After I confirmed with two internet associates that the vehicle was there. I told him that I drove over forty-five minutes to come take a look at this vehicle, that was confirmed it was here, and now I have to just turn back around. He does not offer an apology, his answer was a flat out “yes”. As I get up from the table I tell him to have a manager call me. As I’m driving back, a half an hour passes, and a manager has yet to reach out. I contact the dealership via text, and asked if a manager would be reaching out. The response was “as soon as we have the information for you.” The next day comes, and no one has attempted to reach out, try and amend this situation, nothing. I text again, and a few minutes later the internet manager calls. She informs me that the vehicle I was interested in had been stolen, as well as two other vehicles were broken into. Understanding, I thanked her for her time. About a week passes, and the same vehicle comes up in my online search. Weird, the vehicle that was stolen, is still listed on their website, for sale. I decided to have my girlfriend give a call to the dealership. They confirmed to her that the vehicle was there, and available for a test drive. When the representative was going over the specs on the car, she mentioned the car had a clean CarFax. If a vehicle is stolen, it would have been reported in the CarFax report. At that point my girlfriend tells the associate the situation in which the last time I was there, I was told the vehicle was stolen. She claimed to have no idea that any theft was reported on property. For a position that manages inventory and sets up test drives, you would think they would be arguably the first to know if there was theft of a vehicle, so you wouldn’t put a customer through the hassle I went through. She offered to give a call back shortly, and for the rest of the evening, never called back. Was the vehicle stolen? Did someone have the vehicle and they fabricated the story of it being stolen? Are they trying to cover up the fact they recovered the vehicle and are now selling it with the theft unreported? My recommendation would be to stay as far away as possible from this dealership. I have never seen such blatant disregard, as well as a failure to try and make the situation right for the customer. More
Illegal Selling Practices! When my father passed away, my step-mother came to the dealer 2 days after his burial to understand her options as the car lease was in his name. The When my father passed away, my step-mother came to the dealer 2 days after his burial to understand her options as the car lease was in his name. The sales manager told her she had to return the car today or buy it. They did not share all of the options legally available to her and had her signing papers to purchase the car. Grief-stricken, she did not understand what she was signing and as soon as I became aware and realized the poor financial decision she had made under duress, tried to work with the General Manager to void the agreement for over 3 weeks. Hyundai Finance (the original owner of the car) and the new bank all agreed that the dealer could simply void the agreement and return the car. After agreeing to this request, the dealer has since refused, the car has been repossessed and legal action is now forthcoming. Thankfully, we located a wonderful Hyundai dealer in Del Rey but now will have to contend with credit issues. A grieving family should never have to go through this. #NeverNapelton #DoNotBuyWPBHyundai More

There was a particular configuration My wife and I just leased a new 2020 Hyundai SantaFe. This is our fourth one dealing with Napleton's WPB Hyundai. There was a particular configuration that we wanted but it was nowhere to be found. We have been dealing with Anthony Carreras, alias the "Happy Hyundai Man", ever since our Hyundai adventures began many years ago. When we contacted Anthony with our wishes, we knew our problem would be resolved. Not long after, he contacted us that he found the exact car we were looking for. He is absolutely the best when it comes to satisfying a customer, bar none. If you're looking for a new Hyundai, he's your man. Roman Andrew, another wonderful caring employee, helped us with just about everything else that needed to be done to make our experience with Napleton's a joyous one. Between these two gentlemen, an otherwise tedious day became a pleasureable one. More
Stay away from this dealership - lying rip off artists ! Don't even think about going to this rip off dealership. They are the typical scummy dealership that you will find in SE Florida. I went there for a Don't even think about going to this rip off dealership. They are the typical scummy dealership that you will find in SE Florida. I went there for an internet advertised price on a car. I asked the salesman on the phone if this would be the total price, he said yes. I made an appointment to come in that day. When I went there I asked him again, and he confirmed the price. Then he spends a half hour getting the keys to the car and claiming he has the move other cars around to get to it. Why didn't he do that in the hours before I came ? More time wasted there. Then I find out that he doesn't have the colors and options I asked for, which he claimed he had on the phone. Then he does the sales tactic to get me to test drive various cars, all of which were not what I asked for over the phone and he said he had. Each car he had me drive became a long wait for him to find the keys. He had me test drive 2 cars, and after that wasted time, when I agreed to buy one, which I really didn't want anyway, he calls his manager, who kept me waiting there another half hour. Then he shows me a sales paper with about $4,000 more in added dealer fees then their internet price ! When I showed the manager a copy of his advertised internet price, he tells me that it didn't include their dealer fees, and that all dealers do this. What a lie ! I have been to 2 dealers out of SE Florida that played fair, honored their advertised price, and did not add on thousands of dollars in fees. They lied about everything - the car's colors, millages, and price. When the salesman asked me why I wanted a certain color, I told him because a body shop owner told me that white and bright silver don't fade much in the sun over the years. He tells me that silver is the worst for fading. Why did he say that ? Because he didn't have the bright silver one I wanted. Another lie. Then when I was asking for a backup camera in a 2015 car, another salesman interrupts by saying that they didn't put backup cameras in cars before 2016. I told him, yeah, I've got a 2011 and 2015 Kia, lower priced cars that both have backup cameras ! Another lie from them ! Then the salesman tries to sell me a smaller car, a car that I told him I didn't want. While he was looking for another type of car that he knew I didn't want, we walked out. They wasted 3 hours of my time, and plenty of gas to travel there. They get paid to show up there, I don't. A good tip for any car buyer, before you waste your time going there, ask the salesman to email you the details of the car, and the "out the door price", which includes all fees, taxes and plate charges. Then you will know what the final price really is. They can still lie to you about the car itself - the year, color or mileage, but they won't be able to get out of the "out the door price." Also, if you have a trade in, get online quotes as to it's value, then go to Carmax for a free written quote. This dealership tried to rip me off as far as my trade in as well. To repeat, stay away from this low life dealership. Go to dealerships in more country areas like central and west coast Florida areas, where the people are more honest. More
Overall Terrible to Deal with If I could have given these guys a 0, I would have! I leased a new Genesis in Palm Springs, CA 6 days before deciding to get one for my Florida res If I could have given these guys a 0, I would have! I leased a new Genesis in Palm Springs, CA 6 days before deciding to get one for my Florida residence as well. Everything was so positive in CA-- Peter, the Sales rep was very good and not overly aggressive and Gary back in the F&I Dept was one of the best I've dealt with. I would tell you that these guys made the overall experience very positive. Well that was CA. It was so positive as I stated above, that I went less than a week later and got the same car on the East Coast in Florida-- I don't want to mix the surveys, but the dealership in Florida has been horrendous to deal with. I traded in a car 13 days ago there and that car has still not been paid off to close out my contract with Lexus. Furthermore, I still do not have an account number for this vehicle to go in and start making payments on-line. When I called the dealership on Monday (7/29-- 9 days after getting the vehicle) , I spoke to the Sales Mgr. I had dealt with (Rance) and he told me the "deal hasn't funded yet", but he'd check into it and call me back in a few hours-- that was 4 days ago and still no call. I just put in another call to Rance and was told he's on the phone. Gee all this to pay my bill??? The experience at this dealership in Florida was hugely disappointing yet I still purchased the vehicle because the vehicle was what I wanted-- here are some other bullet points from that experience: 1) filled out all of my info on line the night before including my ss# because the website said it would save an abundance of time. 2) Was given a trade in quote for my vehicle on line the night before yet when I went into the dealership, the initial number that you guys came back with was $10,000 below what the quote was on-line. 3) I called the dealership that morning to make sure the car was there that I wanted-- they said it was-- I drove over 45 minutes and the car was not there that I wanted. 4) The process took over 5 hours to complete (why did I waste time the night before on-line then?) 5) Once I was taken to the Finance office, I had a Finance guy who was sick with a major cold touching all of the paperwork I had to sign-- he proceeded to tell my wife and I that he had gotten sick because he was laid off from the dealership earlier in the week, but ended up coming back only the day before because the dealership needed him. Who tells a customer all of this? 6) Once led out of the Finance office, we were taken downstairs to a cashier window to give our deposit-- we stood there over 10 minutes waiting for the 2 women to decide how to process the check. 7) The dealership continued to ask us to fill out the survey with all top scores-- you know what? They have to close the deal out because I haven't even gotten that survey yet. 8) After not getting a call back from Rance, I called and left a message for the GM of the dealership (Chris Layton) both yesterday and today and still no return call from him either. I guess I shouldn’t expect the Sales Mgr to call back if his GM doesn’t do so either. I am now worried that my payments are due on the 20th of each month and I don't have this setup yet in your system-- I paid my CA lease within a few days. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone moving forward and would be very reticent in wanting to take my vehicle back there for any type of service needed. It was amazing to see how to do business the right way in California and how to do business the complete wrong way in Florida. The dealership in Florida was Napleton Hyundai and Genesis. We leased a G70 from both places. Please do not use any of this review against the Palm Springs dealership-- they did everything the right way!! Further Notes since I wrote this initially: 1) Finally got Rance on the phone today (8/12) 2) He said check was sent on 8/6 to Lexus to payoff my old vehicle-- I told him that has not been received yet—also asked what would have happened if I wouldn’t have been paid ahead with Lexus—I would have had a late payment for August if this was not paid ahead by me. 3) Told him there was no excuse not to call a customer back as he had stated he would do on 7/29. 4) He finally apologized for this 5) Told him there was no reason for me to want to do future business with their dealership and if they had been so concerned about the survey coming out as they had indicated the entire time we were buying the car, they would have treated us a whole lot better. 6) Asked to speak to an owner since they may feel differently about how we were treated—was told I was being transferred to the GM—Jeff Johnson. 7) Jeff Johnson was unavailable and I spoke to another Sales Mgr. named Eddie C. Eddie indicated Jeff Johnson was not the overall GM (Chris Layton)-- I said obviously this is a big waste of time to deal with Jeff Johnson since I had already left 2 messages previously for Chris Layton (neither of which had been returned). Good luck if you deal with this group!! More

Never heard of this. How would anyone pay an additional 3200 to the list price. They must think people are idiots. What an insult. I really thought I was on a punked episode. This is why used car salesmen have a bad name. Waste of time. I've bought many cars over the years, but this was the worst by 10 fold. I would be embarassed to work there. Goodluck scam artists. More
