From beginning to right when I walked out with my Certified Pre-owned (and new-to-me) 2016 Jetta Sport, I felt comfortable and not pressured at all! Mike in the financing department was great! I would recommend Napleton VW of Sanford to anyone in the market for a VW. 5 stars! Thank you Kurt Vaughn, Mike in Financing, John Murphy and the rest of the Napleton family! You guys made my first car buying experience less scary and smooth going. I’ll see you guys in a few years when I’m ready for my next one! More

Once they sell you a car they no longer care about any of your concerns or promises they made as part of the deal. No communication. Can’t wait to finish dealing with this dealership so I can do my service at another Vw dealer I would have never purchased the vehicle if I knew this before hand. Would not recommend, not a good experience. More

Bait and switch They sent me a offer on my car from 16k to 18k but when I arrived they wasted my time offering me 14k. The car I wanted to buy with cash was listed at They sent me a offer on my car from 16k to 18k but when I arrived they wasted my time offering me 14k. The car I wanted to buy with cash was listed at $13.5k with a 2 year warranty. At the dealership the price was much higher and had a sticker saying “as is” I would have taken 17k for my car and purchased their car with cash for 12.5k but I felt they were deceitful and left. Customer service called to follow up. They took the information and said they would call me back but did not. Their other location has the same car for sale at a good price but at this point not comfortable doing business with them More
DO NOT SHOP HERE! A deceitful, unethical, unprofessional business. If you have the sense to do so, I would say shop elsewhere. I was interested in a Chevy Suburban the A deceitful, unethical, unprofessional business. If you have the sense to do so, I would say shop elsewhere. I was interested in a Chevy Suburban they had priced significantly lower than its current value on their lot. I found the vehicle through KBB.com and proceeded to check their website to verify the price was in fact correct. I was still unsure of how they could price this vehicle so low so I requested info on it. A few minutes later I received a call from Kathy in their Corporate office to set up a time to come see the vehicle, but first I wanted to again verify this price, she stated that it was the correct vehicle and the correct price. Still unsure, I began to try and pry it out of her as to how they could price that vehicle so low, all she could tell me was that they price their vehicles very aggressively to sell; clearly at that price. So I made my appointment, and made the hour and a half drive to see the vehicle. I was happy with it but it had not undergone the detail process yet and was still messy from the previous owner. I finally was able to sit down with the finance manager Brad who began the process of negotiations and telling me what I was going to be paying. After much argument over my over my end purchase, and the price of the vehicle vs it’s value, he and the sales representative Michelle disappeared for an hour. Again, finally, when the sales rep came back they said Brad was still working on it. During all this waiting, I went back to their site to verify some things about the vehicle again while I searched for my own financing options, now noticing they have changed the price on the vehicle in the time I was there, and raised the price from $30,900 to $42,000. They never bothered to come tell about this, but instead decided to keep this information from me as they continued to work out my “deal”. This is when the general manager Yogi stopped by the table to greet me and let me know they would get me taken care of soon. This is when I confronted him about the sudden price change, where he then revealed to me he was completely aware of this and had still chosen not to talk to me about it until I said something. At this point he tells me that he would not sell me the vehicle at the original asking price that I had verified before driving there, and agreed upon with the finance manager on paper! This is a perfect example of Bait and Switch. The Manager was absolutely unwilling to honor their advertised price. I still have screenshots from my phone of the original price on their site and KBB.com. Completely unethical, dirty business dealing. Needless to say, I politely declined the purchase, asked for my keys to my Escalade back, and left. I will be placing a complaint with the Federal Consumer Protection Bureau, and the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT SHOP HERE. More

The sales team are the most disho You ever hear the terminology “car salesman” ? Napleton VW is the absolute WORST dealership experience in my life. The sales team are the most dishonest, money hungry, sneaky, manipulative, unethical game players ever encountered. The sales management will lie to your face to get your money. No morals whatsoever! When asked a direct question they evade the question, take their time to return a call, if ever. Their interest is not the “customer”. Their primary interest is the almighty dollar. The best advice potential customers needs to know about this dealership is RUN and go elsewhere to buy a vehicle. If your brave enough to stay.....BUYER BEWARE! You better review, read, ask questions, get answers, get it in writing prior to the papers, get a copy of the documents in hand before it goes to finance. Take your time to review the documents, if in doubt, do not SIGN anything! You want a rating? ZERO More

Priority one by sales was make Competition offers better auto pricing, deeper discounts, all the incentives offered and lower out the door price. Priority one by sales was make the sale and make as much $$ as possible. Sales spent more time tag teaming each other to make the sale. Not once did sales or sales management offer to sit down with the customer prior to handing the vehicle purchase details of agreed ie sales number, discounts, allowances, service charges, etc prior to handing off the papers to finance. Vehicle purchase information needs clarification on the estimate sheet. In my particular case, spoke with multiple managers and not ONE Napleton manager took the time to review the numbers with me the customer. The management did ask me what can they do to make the deal right. None seem to listen! How do I know? Not one manager involved with customer dissatisfaction prior to the customer leaving the Napleton dealership bothered to inquire if things were satisfied. The purchase, trade-in, trade-out was absolutely horrible. Robert R. More
