Do not have any dealings with Napleton Dealership Do yourself a favor and do not have any dealings with this company. I purchased at used 2008 Toyota Tundra from Napleton Volkswagen on January 19, 2 Do yourself a favor and do not have any dealings with this company. I purchased at used 2008 Toyota Tundra from Napleton Volkswagen on January 19, 2019. I had the truck two days when the check engine light came on, so I took the truck back to the dealer. After they check the engine I was told that it was caused by a sensor that was used get the truck to pass the California emission control requirements. The problem should not cause any major problems. This was a lie. That was lie number one. About a month the truck would not shift properly. I took the truck to a transmission company. They said that the transmission was fine but an air injection reactor pump was faulty. There are two in the truck. The reactor cost $865.00 to replace. They replaced one pump and the truck was fine for about another month. The lights came back on and the truck was not accelerating, and other check engine lights were on. I took the truck back Napleton dealership to fix all the truck. The kept the truck for about a week. They said they check all the systems and determined the all my problems were with a traction control sensor. They informed me it would cost over $ 800.00 to fix the problem. I offered to pay four hundred of the cost to repair. The service tech said he would have to get approval. I waited for almost a week to get the answer to split the cost of the repair, it never came. I was paying for a rental truck while my truck was in their shop. So I told them to just fix the problem. I was just stuck with the whole bill. Two days after I got the truck back I had the same problems. They never fix any of my problems they just lied about the whole problem from first days after I bought the truck in January until April. The problem was with the air injection reactor pumps, this is a common problem with the Tundra, they should have found this problem out when I took the truck back to Napleton two days after I purchased the truck. They lied to me about this problem from the start. More
Worst dealership experience This place has perfected the art of patronizing. They will tell you what you want to hear while being as nice as can be, to your face. Unfortunately, they will then never follow up on anything they told you they would do, or even what they claimed to have already done. They cashed a check before the agreed hold date, and never filed the proper finance paperwork. Had to take it upon ourselves to find the lender and contact them for specifics and payment information. Maybe Napleton did this, and withheld the information, on purpose, in an attempt to cause issues for us- maybe they didn’t.. but it is safe to say, once you write this place a check, YOU NO LONGER MATTER! They won’t call you back, and even when you do speak to someone- they will tell you one thing, but actually do nothing at all. Lazy? Forgetful? Maybe just your typical greedy dealership? More

Volkswagen #4 since 2007 As much as I hate the process of having to purchase/lease a car, somehow Napleton's VW always gets me over the fear of doing so and I end up having a As much as I hate the process of having to purchase/lease a car, somehow Napleton's VW always gets me over the fear of doing so and I end up having a great experience. My 2016 Jetta lease was expiring in June, so during the Sign & Drive Event in April, I was able to stop in, get those last 2 payments taken care of on my current car, avoid going over in my mileage allotment, and still walk out in a beautiful new 2019 VW Jetta with a slightly less monthly payment than I currently had. I can't ask for anything more than that. More
