Awful Car Shopping Experience After negotiating the price of a certified pre-owned Subaru down to where I would agree to buy, the sales manager, Jeff, steps in and says there would After negotiating the price of a certified pre-owned Subaru down to where I would agree to buy, the sales manager, Jeff, steps in and says there would be a $750 additional fee tacked on to the listed price for a "certified pre-owned inspection" and then refused to budge on the price, claiming that dealers do not negotiate with prices now that they list cars online. I was lied straight to my face and told that all dealers who sell certified pre-owned Subarus do not include this phantom "inspection fee" so they get customers through the door. This contradicted what I was told by his sales rep who stated that this fee would only apply to regular used cars that still needed to undergo the inspection. He refused to negotiate the price down after just increasing it out of nowhere. Also, his denial to acknowledge the Bluebook value of the car made the price discussion pointless - after his price increase, the car ended up being $1000 overvalued. I had to hold in my laugh when he told me he knew about integrity because he was a former cop. Fortunately, I was able to find another Subaru dealership that didn't add an certified pre-owned fee to their listed price and even matched the Bluebook value of the car. Regarding Napleton Subaru - good luck to anyone having to deal with these guys and the lies they throw at you. More

the worst customer service From the moment I have purchases my subaru in 2018 until now I have had nothing but poor experiences with the service department. I paid extra to hav From the moment I have purchases my subaru in 2018 until now I have had nothing but poor experiences with the service department. I paid extra to have all of my oil changes and basic services covered for the first 3 years. When I went for my first oil change I was told I did not have this service. Even when I presented proof that I paid for this service nobody would look at my paperwork. A manager, who was also rude, then told me he would 'do me a favor' but stated I did not have the extended service plan. I later called subaru and they confirmed that I did indeed have this plan. The next time I scheduled an oil change there was also a recall on my SUV. I asked to schedule both services together. I took off half a day of work and arrived for the services. Once I was there I was told that the recall service was not ready. There was no regard for the fact that I purposely scheduled after being told I could do both, and then took a day off of work. I then asked if I could be notified when the recall would be ready, and I was reassured I would receive a call. Now >6 months have passed and I have not received a call. So not only did they not live up to what they said they would do, but I am also now going to miss out on oil changes that I already pre-paid for, as the service covered an oil change every 6 months for 3 years. I do not recommend anyone use this service facility, purchase from this location, and even reconsider getting a subaru because of their inability to provide appropriate service, admit mistakes, make up for mistakes, and provide the services that they promise. More

Very happy with the service I have been taking my Foresters to Napleton Subaru in Schaumburg, IL for the past 8 years. I have had nothing short of an excellent experience there. I have been taking my Foresters to Napleton Subaru in Schaumburg, IL for the past 8 years. I have had nothing short of an excellent experience there. I normally work with my service advisors, Keith and Nate. Both are thorough and personable. They keep in informed via text – very convenient and efficient. When I went in to purchase an extended warranty a few years ago, the finance guy was not available so Chris Napleton set it up for me. He’s a great guy too! I highly recommend Napleton Subaru for both a new car purchase and ongoing service. More

I took my ‘07 WRX to get worked on a recall for an air bag! Dropped my car off January 15th! Picked up my vehicle February 14th! Came back and found a dent on my passenger side fender. Service advisor Jasmine was giving me and my Dad attitude the entire time picking up my vehicle asking why our loaner key didn’t have the vehicle tag on it cause it must have fallen off after having the loaner after 1 month! I would leave numerous messages after services advisors not picking up and wouldn’t get a call back 2 days later! I’m NEVER repeat NEVER taking my car to Napleton's Schaumburgh Subaru again! BAD SERVICE! More
