Set I had talked with the dealer and had agreed upon a price. On more than one occasion, I came to this establishment and had a very agreeable price. Set on a price and very sure that I was going to get what was agreed upon, I came to the dealership with full expectations. The expectations were shattered as the price they gave was 2,000 from the agreed upon price. An offer should not even be made if that offer cannot even be met with even a 50 foot pole. Not only that, with each time, I had said I know the vehicle through and through, do not wish to go through the same experience over and over again but the dealer would not start agreeing on a deal until we had repeatedly seen the car. Me as well as my friend have had a very bad experience. My personal experience was with the dealer Rene and I do not recommend buying a car from Schaumburg Napleton Mazda. Also, I was bribed with free floor mats and stuff if I were to write full mark reviews. More
SHAME ON YOU Mr NAPLETON! Went there last night to return a leased vehicle after being told by Mazda financial and one of employees there at the dealership that was no need t Went there last night to return a leased vehicle after being told by Mazda financial and one of employees there at the dealership that was no need to set up anything as long as I am there before 9PM. I got there around 8:15 PM and as soon as I came in everyone look the other way so after a few minutes I talked to the finance manager (never got a name) who told me that he did not know I was bringing the lease return in order to do that I will have to be there before 5PM and they do not take lease returns after 5PM( I purchased the lease there and was planning to buy a 2015 CX5) however we never got to that point because I felt like they wanted me to leave . I also have to mention that we have the same problem when we first went there 40 months ago, first time we got there around 8:30 ready to buy but the salesperson told us that the manager wanted us to come back the next day because the store closes at 9PM!(first time I hear this from a car dealership) .Due to the hours we work and timing we were not available to make the purchase until the following week. These people are very rude and unprofessional. From there we went to Rohrman Ford few blocks away and they were very happy to sell us a new Ford Escape. We left Rohrman at 10:35 PM and there was 3 more people still buying cars when we left. For your info next time you have a lease return just call Mazda Financial and they will go to you and pick up the vehicle. SHAME ON YOU NAPLETON!!!!!! More

Stay away from this please. CANT BELUEVE THIS IS A NAPLETON DEALERSHIP, SHAME ON YOU! More
Ruined my First car buying experience As a 25 year old female buying her first car, I did my research on the 2014 Mazda 3 as well as some Chevy models, and if I could have taken the Chevy As a 25 year old female buying her first car, I did my research on the 2014 Mazda 3 as well as some Chevy models, and if I could have taken the Chevy sales rep with the Mazda 3, it would have been a great experience. Once I decided on a "certified pre-owned" 2014 Mazda 3 that I could not get at that price anywhere else, Nic Vostal and the sales manager (can't remember his name now but he never approached me directly through out the three days I went there) ruined my whole car buying experience. Never have I been more disrespected in my life. First Nic assumed I have bad credit because I am a young female. Then Nic insulted my father who was with me- who's a salesman. Then he kept switching up the negotiations and the price kept INCREASING when he was trying to prove how we were getting a better deal. He came up with some $1,500+ certified pre-owned inspection extra price on top of the listed car price yet could not explain why it was so high and "it was a Mazda policy." So when he went to talk to the sales manager about the next "deal" we discussed, the manager threw the hand written piece of paper on the table and yelled to Nic as he walked away "no more negotiating! I'm done!" with other customers sitting near us at other desks in the show room. I was standing right next to Nic and the sales manager never even looked my way, let alone tell me he was done negotiating (when again, the price kept increasing). When I told him I was going to come back to look at the car in sunlight (we went at night), Nic said "oh great I get to come in on my day off, ok." So I went back a different day, when Nic was there, and eventually told him we would not be financing through them. He told me I still had to write them a personal check for the down payment plus the other check from my bank, which was not even correct. I asked him for a printed, official sales offer letter (I don't know the technical term for it) that my bank asked, and he gave me something completely different that my bank could not even work with. So, I called and got some other sales person on the phone who also gave me crap right away because "he was not my salesman and does not know what I am talking about." My dad went back a third day and asked for the sales manager and Rocco told him he could help him- even though he is not in the sales department- and exchanged some more words with my dad. Eventually a deal was made and suddenly when I walked in this dealership for the third time, I was called by my name, looked in the eye when spoken to, and did not finalize my deal with Nic but with Kate. Rocco told me if I gave a positive review of Napeltons Schaumburg Mazda after I received a link via email, he would give me some new car mats because they could not get salt stains out of the current mats. I have yet to receive any emails from this dealership and bought my own car mats. Never go to this dealer!!! More
UNETHICAL At the time we purchased the CX-9 (December 2011) at NAPLETON'S SCHAUMBURG MAZDA, we were offered a "Mazda Advantage" pre-paid maintenance program and At the time we purchased the CX-9 (December 2011) at NAPLETON'S SCHAUMBURG MAZDA, we were offered a "Mazda Advantage" pre-paid maintenance program and provided with the brochure. We decided to add both the service plan AND an extended warranty program charges to the purchase of our CX-9. After moving out of state in January of 2014, we took our vehicle to the local dealership for the recommended maintenance. It was then that we learned WE DID NOT HAVE A "MAZDA ADVANTAGE" maintenance contract. We were told that the prepaid service policy was solely for scheduled maintenance performed at NAPLETON'S SCHAUMBURG MAZDA. TIM VICKEN, a manager at NAPLETON'S SCHAUMBURG MAZDA, was contacted by telephone immediately to help us resolve the mater. We faxed him all of the "Mazda Advantage" information that we were provided with at the time of purchase. TIM VICKEN never returned any of our calls, nor did he respond to the weekly faxes we had sent him. After the first (and only) telephone contact we made with him - he never accepted our calls, nor did he return our calls. In April 2014, we made the 4 hour trip to Schaumburg in order to speak with someone in person at the dealership. After having us wait for over 30 minutes, TIM VICKEN finally came out to the showroom to speak with us…and claimed that the matter had been resolved long ago! Two weeks later, and with the help of Mazda USA, we were finally able to obtain the product that we had paid for in December of 2011. To add insult to injury, in early May 2014, TIM VICKEN mailed us documents (contract) stating that our extended warranty plan had been changed from the "Security National Auto Protection" plan to the "Mazda Extended Confidence Plan". In November 2014, we needed to use the added protection - and when we called the telephone number provided in the contract, Mazda told us the dealer had not paid for any such extended confidence program. We then contacted Security National, the previous carrier, and were told that our plan was cancelled for non-payment from the dealer. NAPLETON MAZDA and MR TIM VICKEN ARE NOT THE FIRST AUTO DEALERS OR INDIVIDUALS THAT SELL SUCH PRODUCTS AS MAINTENANCE PLANS or EXTENDED WARRANTIES, AND THEN DO NOT ACTIVATE THE PLANS AFTER THE CONSUMER HAS PAID FOR THEM. THEY SIMPLY CHOOSE TO NOT PAY THE PROVIDER, THEREFORE THERE IS NO CONTRACT. I'VE SINCE LEARNED THAT THIS CAN BE A FAIRLY COMMON PRACTICE. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE OF OUR EXTENDED WARRANTY, BUT ANTICIPATE A VERY LONG WAIT IN BEING ABLE TO DO SO. There are many reputable auto dealers, and it's a shame that a business like NAPLETON'S SCHAUMBURG MAZDA exists. We are taking every step available to us in hoping for an investigation into their unethical practices. If you've had a similar experience, please take the steps necessary to call attention to NAPLETON'S poor business practices. As the manager, TIM VICKEN is obviously without ethics, and increases the bottom line by selling products they have no intention of providing to consumers. More
Bait and Switch - Beginning to End - Buyer Beware In short, the availability of the car was bait and switch, the initial offer-price was extremely misleading, he dangled my purchase rate and financing In short, the availability of the car was bait and switch, the initial offer-price was extremely misleading, he dangled my purchase rate and financing unless I purchased their extended warranty , and he is still dangling the agreed upon accessories until I submit a customer-service-index survey. We knew exactly what trim, color, and options we wanted. Unfortunately, our local dealer didn't have it on their lot and had to swap from 500 miles away. Napelton's informed me that they not only could beat my local dealer's price, but that they had the exact car we wanted on the lot. We drove the extra 30 miles to Napelton's to find out that they didn't have the car, and that their offer price assumed all rebates and incentives that I did not qualify for. They would also have to swap for the same car that my local dealer. Napelton's price was still lower than my local dealer, so we asked them to move forward with the swap. The very next business day, we find out that the car is no longer available. The only thing they can find is another car but with remote start. I couldn't justify paying the extra cost they were going to charge me, so I asked for additional accessories (all-weather floor-mats and a cargo map) to help offset the additional cost. They agreed to overnight them to me but only after I complete the post-purchase customer-satisfaction-index survey. I agree and come into the dealership for delivery. Was brought back into the financing room to meet with Rocco. He informs me that since the car is no longer what we agreed upon and now has remote start, they have to add to our originally agreed-upon price. I comply. However, I was then told that because it is a whole different car than originally agreed-upon, I have to purchase their extended-warranty in order to qualify for the agreed-upon financing rate and purchase-price. If I don't take the extended warranty, he will raise the purchase price and the financing rate. More

They were plain rude. Kept us waiting for 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged we were in the store. The new salesman was good but he had no idea what to do with the rudeness of his fellow sales before someone even acknowledged we were in the store. The new salesman was good but he had no idea what to do with the rudeness of his fellow salesmen, as he was the 'new' guy. They did not seem interested in selling us the car we liked. Negotiating was a joke. The poor new guy was sent back-n-forth a couple times and they reduced the price by $200 and expected us to jump at the offer. We walked out. There are plenty of other dealers to choose from, one doesn't need to be subjected to these guys' rudeness to buy a car. More
