We came a cross Mario Mankowski at Oak Lawn Mazda and even though we said we are not buying today he still treated us like VIPs. We left the dealership , went for dinner and decided with my wife that we will go the next morning to purchase the CX5 Mazda. Super nice and professional treated from A-Z . We had researched the car we wanted online, looking for a used Mazda CX-9. When we found it at this dealership, we were excited. We test drove it and decided to purchase it. After that, the negotiations over the price took 5 hours. We spent most of the time waiting for the manager to get back to us while watching him working with other people. We settled on a price that we understood to include the warrantee that was described to us during the test drive. While signing the papers, we were told that had to wait until financing to learn about details of the warrantee. AFTER our credit cards were run for the down payment, we learned the price did NOT include the described warrantee, and the cost would add thousands to our purchase price—and hundreds to our monthly payment. It was deceptive. In addition, we were promised that we could bring the car back for free detailing. The first time we tried to do that, we were told that offer was no longer valid. Finally, and most importantly, one month after the purchase, we began having transmission problems. We have yet to have the dealership be able address them, although we specifically bought from a dealership so we would not have to worry about mechanical issues. We have been in touch with the dealership about the negative experience we had. They were defensive and demeaning, no apologies or offers to rectify the situation. This is why we are writing this review. More
